What do you think Dr. STONE's legacy will be after the show ends and the fandom fades? I think it'll go down as a hidden gem with a small but passionate cult following (given TMS sticks the landing). Sort of like a Trigun or Hikaru no Go.

Anyway, back to my post on Toki being a stanxeno child, I decided to write a one-shot based on it. I have to convert people to shoujo somehow, and if Colleen's Manga Recs has taught me anything, it's that the only way to do that is to connect it to shonen.

Someone once said, if writing is so hard, then why don’t you get AI to do it for you? Because I like writing. Yes, it’s hard, but I like putting the work in because it’s something I’m passionate about. The process of creation brings me joy and fulfilment. What next? Are you going to ask me if I want AI to eat my dinner and do my hobbies for me?

I need you to understand that when I say "comments are appreciated!" I mean that I will reply to every one of them. I mean that an email with an ao3 notification has a higher priority than a message from my mother. I mean that I will have entire discussions in the comment section if you're up for it. Message me on tumblr and I will have the same discussions on an even more unhinged level. I will dissect entire personalities and ships and fictional political structures and worldbuilding with you. I will become your new best friend. You already ARE my new best friend. At the last battle, I would raise Anduril and say "For my ao3 readers" while a single tears rolls down my cheek, and dive into the fray. I would upload from beyond the grave if someone asked about the next chapter

I want to read more about Ancient Rome, but the Late Roman Republic part keeps depressing me since it reminds me so much of what's happening in my country right now (the US).

The Late Roman Republic's situation is only slightly BETTER than the US because at least Augustus engaged in philanthropy, improved architecture and roads, and loved and respected his wife Livia.

Can't say the same about Trump or Elon.

And before you say, "Oh Trump/Elon wouldn't put up a list of proscription, behead and hang the head of a dissenting senator in a public square or exile writers who critique their rule"--IT WOULD NOT BE OUT OF CHARACTER FOR THEM TO DO THAT. They're friends with Putin, who HAS killed political rivals, so it's not like they disapprove of such actions. I'm not holding my breath for either of those monsters to have some sort of moral compass that would prevent them from doing that.

Honestly? I hope I get exiled to the Falkland Islands. If anyone in the Trump administration is reading this, PLEASE exile me to that tiny beautiful, penguin-filled island so I can live among those flightless birds. I will one day join them in the sea.
