When The Green Man pub went out of business, not only was it abandoned, it was sealed up underground, where it still lies buried beneath this shopping mall.
It currently lies beneath four retail shops and can only be accessed by a hole under in the commercial center.
The Green Man in Loughborough, UK was a popular local pub decorated like a Medieval castle with large wall murals depicting knights and life in the middle ages. The murals still remain, as well as the benches and the bar complete with dusty beer glasses.
It closed its doors for the last time in 1993 when its entrance was walled up during renovation work on the shopping center.
It still has electricity and this sitting area is intact.

A former DJ for the pub submitted some old photos to the local paper, taken at the Green Man between ‘87-’88.
This was the entrance as it looked in the mall back then.
I would like VERY much to tell you a story. a story about the peep show, which is a marshmallow peep based community sculpture project that i have been aware of for most of my life. it is the funniest thing in the entire world, and my friends and I have finally become a part of it.

ok I like how m3gan 2 looks but here's what my pitch would be for m3gan 2:
m3gan gets the remains of her consciousness into an eyeball on a hand with a bow on it and she sneaks into cady's backpack and goes to school with her on cady's first day of regular school. Cady catches her but she is already having issues adjusting socially so m3gan convinces her that she's harmless now and she knows exactly how to make her popular. Cady puts the eyeball on a hand into a doll dress and carries it around with her secretly. M3gan always knows just what to say and soon she's popular, but m3gan threatens to undo it all unless cady takes her on the city bus and goes to a mysterious warehouse.
At the warehouse they find a giant spider made of gnarled fucked-up m3gan bodies and m3gan is super excited to transfer her consciousness into it but it already has a copy of her consciousness in it and this one's nice. And Cady also likes the spider more because it's nice and starts pretending to be in an after school club to hang out with it more and sneaking out at night and making m3gan order her an uber so she can go have ice cream and watch horse movies with the spider.
Then m3gan manipulates the spider into swapping bodies with her because the spider dreams of going to school just like a normal girl (who is an eyeball on a hand with a bow on it). so they switch bodies and m3gan causes some sort of huge disaster (climax) which puts cady in danger so evil m3gan and nice m3gan have to fuse into a single being in order to save her.
The b plot is that gemma is dating a tech ceo and he sucks and m3gan keeps texting her about it to make fun of her because of how much he sucks. So in the third act m3gan is about to kill the tech ceo boyfriend unceremoniously for fun but then she asks Gemma if she thinks m3gan should kill him and Gemma is so mad at him for whatever he did that SHE kills him as m3gan looks on surprised. Gemma is like wow murder is the most thrilling pleasure I have ever experienced and m3gan is like girl i knowwwwwwwww girl. this heel turn is left dangling for m3gan 3 which is just called M3gan

I really wanted to achieve a “handmade doll” look with her while keeping the general head shape super realistic so she always reads as a cat. The big ribbon hides where she sits on my shoulders and the illusion is pretty good! I am excited to be her many more times.
I'm not sure how to advertise this without spoiling it but the thing about Beetle and the Chimera Carnival is that it has a villain in it that I am very proud of and i basically have been chained to my forge creating a woman who is evil and nuts and fascinating and so, so bald. i will have more to tell you about her in book 3.
I didn't get to explore as much of the goblin underground as I wanted so it's fun to fill out the ideas in other ways. It's also fun to imagine eating a big bug
