SOOOOO funny when you’re having a strong emotion and your logical brain KNOWS you’re overreacting but you literally can’t do anything about it.
Had a dream last night that i was a knight and this bigger scarier knight had me on the ground and right before he swung his sword at my neck he said smth like "i mourn the loss of life for the tree who will become your coffin" which shouldnt of turned me on like it did but alas
For the last time dude, my leitmotif sounds exactly like it always has. There is no symbolism for creeping corruption in there
Why do I feel like Sunrise on the Reaping is just Suzanne Collins writing fan fiction about her own book series?
hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset
Third base is getting stabbed in the stomach and slumping forward with your chin on their shoulder and blood dripping from your mouth
Chappell Roan would kill it as a Hunger Games stylist like Cinna did
my comfortable character
love ruff :3
The only part of spring and summer I'm looking forward to it using the heat as an excuse to dress slutty again
And, oh boy, am I going to use it
no mercy by deathbyromy is a clato song except clove is saying all that while knowing she's at least as crazy as he is
Yessss I love deathbyromy, especially their song with Jazmin Bean (whose song Saccharine is on my clato playlist)!! Day I Die could be a clato song too! I think I Kill Everybody is very career coded as well.
Deathbyromy is one of those artists of today that makes the most cathartic music for me (like Ashnikko, Lil Mariko, and Zheani. Sometimes, my music taste is just women screaming at me lol)
reblog if you’re a writer who’s very terrible at responding to comments from your readers, but has read them all and loves and appreciates each and every single one of them very dearly
Thinking about how Finnick’s "playboy" persona was to cover up his being a victim of human trafficking. And not only that, but to keep him looking like someone who will have anyone because that image sells more. In real life, an image of a "free" and "single" celebrity sells more posters, more products, more and more. It creates this image that people can be more free to sexualize the celebrity. That they can imagine themselves with this idol, or that they have the parasocial delusion that they have a chance.
And in order for Snow to hide Finnick being a victim, he has Finnick sexualize himself just as much as anyone else does. Have him flaunt "lovers" enough that Katniss practically brands him a fuck boy just short of using the term. How Snow might have made all of those victors who are "desirable" to make themselves into sex symbols or to advertise themselves as "playboys and playgirls." Such as Cashmere and Finnick.
Because if anyone outside of the ring finds out what's going on, Snow can say, "Well, they were asking for it. They wanted it because they are the type of people to be sex addicts. Just look at them." A justification that some might accept because just look at how society treats sex workers who do have a choice, how even they are thrown to the side when they are victims of crimes because of stigmatism. Because if you're sex symbol or sexually active in a conservative society, you're "lesser" you're seen as "subhuman."
Just like the victors were.
An ad for your deepest desires :)
The truth of it 🤣
Ah, yes, the great dilemma. PLOT MAKES IT HOTTER!!! vs. I WANT THEM TO BANG NOW!!! Both are objectively correct.

➸ “This is a sentence.”
➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.
➸ “This,” he said, “is a sentence split by a dialogue tag.”
➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”
➸ “This is a sentence followed by an action.” He stood. “They are separate sentences because he did not speak by standing.”
➸ She said, “Use a comma to introduce dialogue. The quote is capitalized when the dialogue tag is at the beginning.”
➸ “Use a comma when a dialogue tag follows a quote,” he said.
“Unless there is a question mark?” she asked.
“Or an exclamation point!” he answered. “The dialogue tag still remains uncapitalized because it’s not truly the end of the sentence.”
➸ “Periods and commas should be inside closing quotations.”
➸ “Hey!” she shouted, “Sometimes exclamation points are inside quotations.”
However, if it’s not dialogue exclamation points can also be “outside”!
➸ “Does this apply to question marks too?” he asked.
If it’s not dialogue, can question marks be “outside”? (Yes, they can.)
➸ “This applies to dashes too. Inside quotations dashes typically express—“
“Interruption” — but there are situations dashes may be outside.
➸ “You’ll notice that exclamation marks, question marks, and dashes do not have a comma after them. Ellipses don’t have a comma after them either…” she said.
➸ “My teacher said, ‘Use single quotation marks when quoting within dialogue.’”
➸ “Use paragraph breaks to indicate a new speaker,” he said.
“The readers will know it’s someone else speaking.”
➸ “If it’s the same speaker but different paragraph, keep the closing quotation off.
“This shows it’s the same character continuing to speak.”
