The FDA has allowed companies to not label things with gluten allergens. This means that, once again, the gluten free label can deceptive, and we need to start reading through all of the ingredients again (unless it has the verified label from GFCO). I'm not entirely sure how far this goes, but if looking for treats, do Not believe: cadbury cream eggs, newman o's. They are not gluten free. Stay safe!
Here is an example of the GFCO logo, they verify that advertised gluten free foods actually are:
Either of these logos means that a food has been verified by a third party company that is not the FDA (who has proven we cant trust them). I'm not sure about other verification companies, but I trust this one because they certify gluten free within celiac sensitivity standards. If you know of any other companies, feel free to add!
Once again, stay safe!
On your advanced fee scam, there also seems to be a scam involving blogs impersonating artists tiktok accounts (either that or they're working hard for this scam) that will ask to use your face in art and offer to pay you, but they'll send checks to your email and immediately try to make you send them money via gift cards for "art supplies". I was convinced up until they wanted me to head to Walmart at 10 pm and then I realized. They're getting smarter. I hate scams so much.
DANG. That's a new one.
Ive seen a good number of scams, both personally and through friends/family members, and some general Dead Giveaways I look for are-

“There is no job so easy as the other guy’s job.”
bugs is…. shrimp????
article just came out recently! the study came out in 2023 it seems.
Yeah all insects are just a crustacean group now. A butterfly, a mantis, a crab louse, a fruit fly, a stag beetle....they are all variations on one weird shrimp that lost four of its legs and started breathing air.
whenever I see archeological remains of a human who suffered from a terrible disease that couldn’t be treated in their lifetime but could be fixed now, this wave of sorrow and mourning washes over me. a woman in the 14th century who spent her 35 years of life bent at the waist because of congenital scoliosis. a man from the 18th century who died because of a non cancerous mass on his jaw that made eating progressively more difficult. remains of a woman from the Neolithic who died in childbirth having evidence of peri-mortem trepanation on her skull.
and yet she survived to 35. and yet the physicians in his time tried to strengthen his jaw. and yet someone 4,000 years ago tried to save someone they loved from dying of preeclampsia/increased cranial pressure. we tried. we tried and we tried and we tried. we failed and we learned but we tried. that’s what makes humans so beautiful.
this meme is so niche
