hiiii! i was wondering if you had soft coquette/nymphet girl movie vibes. the only movie i can think of that applies to this would be i believe in unicorns😭
thanks so much for the ask!
here are my top picks for soft girl coquette movies ♡ I tried to choose films that were both visually soft and narratively emotional. I hope these are what you are looking for!
Daisies (1966) ~ a visually stunning classic, the girls in this movie are so iconic!! I especially love the dinner scene, and the ending where they dance and swing from a chandelier ♡
The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1963) ~ it's a musical! and Catherine Deneuve's hairstyles and outfits are to die for!
Dreamchild (1985) ~ tells the story of the "real Alice in Wonderland" and it's so dreamy visually, yet so heartbreaking (much like I Believe in Unicorns).
Innocence (2004) ~ about an all-girls boarding school in the woods and the pains and mysteries of growing up, it's such a visually stunning and slow paced film, one of my favourites I watched last year.
