An Ornate agate sword hilt with inlayed gold disks. From tomb 81 (Mycenae's chamber tombs excavated by the Greek archaeologist Christos Tsountas 1887-1898).

Oh these questions are fun! *rubbing hands together*

🍓 Honestly I'm not sure. The first time my childhood dog (a lab) saw a floor to ceiling glass window, she ran into it full speed. After that, we opened the door for her so she could go outside, but she refused as if to say, I tried that before and it didn't go well. We had to teach her what doors were and it took longer than you'd expect.

Me entering fandom was a little bit like that, except i didn't have a teacher. I just... couldn't figure out how to get in there. I'd heard of AO3, I knew there were fans on tumblr, but I just... couldn't make it happen. I'd been writing silly stories in my head for years (there are entire shenko long fics I plotted out and never wrote down in the year leading up to me actually posting something) and one day, still not having any friends in fandom, not having read any fanfic, not even having a language processor on my shit laptop, I decided I wanted to write one down and put it where people could see it. Didn't know how tags worked, didn't know what the conventions were, had to wait for my AO3 invite, but just wanted to write my silly story. And I did. I got two whole comments on it for the first year it was up. I didn't know it was normal to reply to comments so I didn't.

🍬Odysseus 10000000% had bedslaves during his years at Troy, and it's really, really weird to me that people think he was the one guy who didn't.

🦴I think it would be impossible to say anything I've consumed definitely doesn't affect my writing. I do think Oaths Patroclus is a bit more like Fitzchivalry from ROTE than any character I've previously written just in sheer number of bad decisions he's made (and his love for animals), but I didn't intentionally try to make him similar. Going back to the Iliad always gets my gears turning, though.
