I recently watched a playthrough of Yakuza 0 and got the urge to draw the tragic sibling duo! :''') So here's Tachibana and Makoto in a reunion that could've been T_T
The composition with tears is inspired by the story of Rapunzel, where her tears fall on the prince's eyes and heal him of his blindness. In Makoto's situation, I imagine Tachibana's tears would fall on her eyes when they hug, which symbolizes the start of her sight returning!

And that honestly changed my life. Because I went from a failure, someone who hadn’t been talented enough at anything to excel, to someone who did things because I enjoyed them. I had been raised in such an achievement-oriented environment, so inundated with the myth of Talent, that I thought it was only worth doing things if you could “Win” at them.
