I just want you to know that your art . your art continues to blow my mind every day. I found you through the Arcana fandom and I have yet to see any out-of-game Asra art as gorgeous as yours 😭😭❤️ Your proportions, your postures, your expressions, your coloring, your clothing..... I aspire to reach your level of artistic talent every time I pick up a pencil (and thank you for satiating my hunt for Asra content) MUCH LOVE ❤️❤️

Ah, thank you so much, I’m really touched by your message, which helps me especially during this difficult time, when I’m doubting my artistic abilities (and my career in general, with the economic crisis, artificial intelligence, all that stuff…).

Asra will always be a comforting character for me to draw, and it makes me really happy to be able to share my drawings with other fans ♡( ◡‿◡ )

I also recommend checking out the illustrations of @arimesi and @mr-ame if you don’t know them, I’ve always loved their way of drawing Asra.

I wish you the best on your own drawing journey and I thank you again with this little drawing of Asra as a parent (it’s a bit old, but I’d never posted this one before) :

Sorry to bother you, but do you have a copy of the Arcana photoshop brush still? When I click the folder it's empty! <3 Would greatly appreciate if there's any way you could upload it again!

Sorry, I probably deleted the brushes by mistake when I was cleaning my google drive !

I uploaded them again, here is the link (with brushes for Photoshop and for CSP) :

Have fun ^^

Hi, I saw that post where you mentioned working on your own visual novel and you posted a sprite of someone veeeery attractive called Eldris. That's so cool! Can you tell us a little bit more about it? Plot, setting, genre?

Hello ! Thank you for your interest, it helps me stay motivated (´ ∀ ` *)

Well, I initially started working on this project to practice creating a free visual novel with a fairly short story, before diving into another big project I’ve had in the works for a long time.

It’s set in a medieval fantasy world, with a story that mixes magic, political intrigue, and of course, romance. There would only be one LI (because it's still a trial run) with selectable gender, and I wanted to explore the Enemies to Lovers trope, with the player playing as a witch from a famous family working for kings and queens. I don’t have a nice writing style and I'm very afraid to fall into stereotypes and bland characters, so I’m trying to work on this whenever I can find some free time, and I’m lucky to have some lovely friends helping me with proofreading ⸜( *ˊᵕˋ* )⸝

It's quite the journey, but I believe it will help me learn many things.

(here is an early test for a CG, drawn last year)

Good news, fellow artists! Nightshade has finally been released by the UChicago team! If you aren't aware of what Nightshade is, it's a tool that helps poison AI datasets so that the model "sees" something different from what an image actually depicts. It's the same team that released Glaze, which helps protect art against style mimicry (aka those finetuned models that try to rip off a specific artist). As they show in their paper, even a hundred poisoned concepts make a huge difference.

(Reminder that glazing your art is more important than nighshading it, as they mention in their tweets above, so when you're uploading your art, try to glaze it at the very least.)

Everyone reblog! Spread the word so more and more artists learn that in addition to Glaze that coats art against ai scraping mimicry there's also an offensive tool now, able to skew and poison data pools.

Now poisoning will need many artists to nightshade their art and it's most important to get this ou to those the most at risk of being scraped. Reblog!

I hope tools like this will make more independent artists comfortable enough to share their work! I love the ferocious love behind these types of projects. This won’t make money, it’s a labor of love and community.
