BTS FANFIC WRITERS OF COLOR YOU NEED TO READ ASAP

Here is a post I’ve found with more than 60 BTS fanfic authors of color. Please share and support these writers!

The beauty of such a large and diverse BTS fandom is that there are so many talented ARMY authors in our fanfic communities. As I mentioned in my post about how whitewashed BTS fanfics can be, I get especially happy when I come across fellow POC writers. Thanks to my own reading and networks of BTS friends and writers, I've compiled a list of BTS fanfic writers of color as a jumping off point to explore more POC authors and content creators.

If you are a writer of color and I did not include you (or didn't rec a fic of yours), it's nothing personal. Sometimes, I don't know if writers identify as POC or I just haven't come across your fics yet. Feel free to comment with your handles and a fic to check out and I will try to add you or update when I get a chance (and if I don't, at least it will be in the comments once the comment itself is approved or moderated).

Reminder about the blocking option for anon asks...

So, I realized that the other day I had kind of forgotten that Tumblr lets you block specific Anons (who sent asshole messages to your inbox). I'd gotten so used to deleting the rude ones but had forgotten to first block them. Therefore, here's a quick reminder to all:

Right click the three dots in the top right corner of Anon messages, and you'll get this little menu on the right. Last option in it is 'block sender'. I don't know how I forgot about this...

Use liberally!

Word Count: 2.2k CW/Tags: Mostly Marcus POV, very silly haikus, reader's grandmother's name is Mrs. Lee, ugh Theresa, Marcus is heartbroken, descriptions of food

Summary: Marcus Pike moves into the apartment across from your grandmother.

Why did no one warn him about how freaking humid it was in D.C. in the summertime? If he took two seconds to think about it, of course it would be, considering how often his new home was referred to as a swamp. 

But no, all he thought about was Theresa’s plane arriving without her, leaving him standing at baggage claim bereft with balloons, a bouquet, and a welcome sign. The pit of his stomach twisted as the last passengers from her flight walked past him standing there, alone. There would be no fresh start with Theresa, no slow mornings in a charming row home just a few metro stops from work. No, there was just an invisible hand squeezing his heart so hard he could hardly make it home — well, back to the empty row house. It was supposed to be their home, but he would never call it home. Somehow the flowers and welcome sign were still crushed in his hands as he walked up the front steps. Where the balloons went, he didn't even know.
