I occasionally repost art tutorials WITH credit. If you made a tutorial I reposted and wish me to take it down I will.

i think rickrolling is the only meme that gets objectively funnier with age. in 2009 you learned to anticipate it but in 2019 it happens just infreqently enough that i fall for it every single time

like people still make rage comics and doge jokes and shit but it’s always ironic (the real punchline is that you’re using an outdated format) or more in line with modern absurd internet humor. rickrolling is the only meme i can think of that’s been the exact same for a full decade- click on a link thinking you’re getting something else, get rick astley instead, and it’s still consistently funny

the more time passes the more foolish you feel for falling for a rickroll as well. Like darn I learnt about this prank 10+ years ago how did I just fall for it now,

Nooope. Nope, you can’t get me. I’m not clicking on that link and you can’t make me.

it’s honestly so, so fascinating—here’s a graph I found that estimates how many people have been rickrolled in the past decade!

I actually have no better way to vent my frustration than to say I've been an autistic artist longer than some people on this website have been alive and the only way to overcome burnout is through chilling the fuck out and to help skill regression do drawing drills but no one wants to fucking hear that

Why yes! I do

These are extremely basic but they really help with hand/eye coordination and if you struggle with that like I do (hey autism!) these should be a big help. I believe people who do drafting for blueprints and such do these? Anyway they'll really help with control.

Sending love to everyone who is just... tired. Life is a lot, and sometimes the answer to it all is to just be still and silent for a while. Give yourself space and grace. Whether it’s decision fatigue, anxiety fatigue, information fatigue, routine fatigue, getting life back together fatigue, career fatigue, social fatigue, financial fatigue, or physical fatigue—take a moment to breathe and recharge. You deserve it.

Let’s see what happens

Nope, Louis XVI caused the French Revolution, not Louis XIV, aside from that, he didn't do what Trump is doing.

Louis XVI impoverished France by increasing taxes after going into debt funding the American Revolution, refused to cut back on his own extravagant spending, continued to resist economic reforms, and his inaction with the Third Estate.

Trump is cutting taxes, cutting spending, reforming the government, cutting off corruption and mismanaged funding, negotiating peace talks, making the American economy and military strong on the world stage, after being thoroughly made to appear weak by the previous administration, enforcing the border, and deporting the leeches abusing the system.

If you think Trump is acting like Louis XVI, you haven't read, or don't understand, history.

Tbf to your last statement, it seems most people with TDS have also forgotten the past two centuries of world history when it comes to the reality of who and what they choose to propagate and worship.

Honestly, but if they want to compare a political figure to Louis XVI, Biden fits far closer.

He increased spending, increased taxes, caused global economic turmoil due to his weakness, allowing Putin to invade Ukraine with said weakness, Oct 7th, the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, endless funding of foreign wars, and a refusal to address America's own proverbial 'Third Estate,' even going so far as to demonize, and attack them.

TDS is a plague on the psyche of the world.

I adore analog technology like this

"areas without electricity" in 1910 included well over 99% of the world so that's kind of weird wording

These were built for everywhere because everywhere was "areas without electricity".

This is the magic that the Steampunk Era of the 2000s brought to the forefront of my knowledge. The number of beautiful and wonderful analog inventions astounds me and makes me incredibly happy. I don't think I'll ever write a story that doesn't at least have a nod given to these delights.

its just embarrassing when you make a fandom related post and it doesnt get any notes like okay. so no one want to play tuoys with me. no one wants to play with our little guys together. okay thats fine. yeah its cool... puts my hands in my jacket pockets. kicks a beer can that was on the side of the road a little

“So basically my couch has electricity and I use it to charge my battery powered doorbell”

“Okay that makes sense”

Now explain it to a Japanese samurai from the year 1218

"do you know how waterwheels grind up grain in a water mill using the force of running water? We found a way to create a huge source of force that runs all the time and can transfer its force over long distance. I can tell you in more detail, but that's the basics. Now that is a chime that has a mechanism that one can press instead of having to open the door to let you know that you are waiting to be let in. It requires the transferred force to make the mechanism work and that wire is how we transfer the force to the chime."
