For those who are new to Flight Rising april fools and don't want to stress about the event item: it's a cycling chest. FOR NOW, opening it will give you a different color of the same chest, etc. etc. Last year we had two, but there were more colors in the past, but it's a pre-determined cycle. Once the event ends (about 4th 6:00 FR time, but check for dev info on that or keep an eye out on the chest's item database entry), the chest will lock in its current color, and opening it will give you an item that is somehow associated with the color.

Notes for those who don’t play FR:
This is a comic based on Flight Rising’s Pearlcatcher dragons. These dragons have one or two horns based on their sex. The have large pearls that they routinely grow with a black mucus. Each layer of a Pearlcatcher’s pearl is imbued with memories and the essence of who they are, it is a manifestation of their soul.
Dragons without a tertiary gene can’t see the color of it. This dragon has no tertiary gene, so doesn’t know the color.
A Tri-Color Scatterscroll is an item that randomizes all three of a dragons colors. This dragon is insecure with his colors and wants to change them, but is told he is too young, since scattering colors is irreversible. (And frankly, a bit expensive.)
In the last panel, both dragons develop their tertiary gene, which is Wish. Usually you buy gene scrolls at the marketplace, but I made it so their wishes came true and the gene developed, showcasing their formerly hidden tertiary colors.

thinking about imperials for too long makes me feel SICK if I was an imp living in a post-luminax society I would become the joker.
imagine your entire culture & lifestyle revolving around staying as far away from your brethren as possible so you don't accidentally become a Huge Multiheaded Zombie. imagine your own god hating/fearing you and referring to you as 'a mistake that must be rectified.' imagine feeling so alone in a world full of dragons that can comfortably coexist with entire clans of their kin. and then imagine Luminax showing up. I know the other breeds are weird about it I fucking know it. I know they finally understand why imperials prefer to stay away from each other and why they're so specific in the way they bury their dead. I know some of them have suddenly started avoiding their imperial clanmates and become acutely aware of just how many imperials are in their clan. I know some of them have become hostile and threatening. I know the amount of imperials who have suddenly been exiled from their clans for no apparent reason is greater than 0. I know some pearlcatchers are gloating about the whole thing.
I am going to gnaw my own arm off.
Fun facet of this: can you imagine the bad, off color jokes about it. Like not only everything above but stack on that the humor of your non imperial friend that's supposed to make you feel better but doesn't. Imagine the jokes that were never intended to make you feel better too.
