tumblr just deleted a huge swathe of palestinians who were on here trying to fundraise. if you've been helping any of these fundraisers please take this time to 1) check in with palestinians you're in contact with 2) help them submit support requests if needed 3) keep these campaigns circulating while the beneficiaries are being silenced. these campaigns are life or death, this isn't just social networking. do not let these fundraisers languish.
Palestinians who've reached out to me today after having their blogs deleted (sorry if I don't have your most recent former account):

they'll fund a genocide and let their poor regions be destroyed. don't fucking forgive them for that.
my hometown is completely gone from what pictures i can find of it, i have not heard from my family (including aunts, uncles, parents, one sibling, and a grandparent), and the infrastructure in the mountain communities is wiped out. i cannot stress how catastrophic this is, or how difficult it will be for these communities to build back. i am angry, and scared, and heartbroken by everything that's happened.
and our government is spending it's money to fund a genocide.
free palestine, and don't be complicit. realize that this is not something happening that doesn't affect you--although it shouldn't take this to care about the deaths of thousands of people anyway.
If you are as concerned about migrant workers in Lebanon as I am, please donate to this fundraiser to help repatriate stranded migrant workers home or please donate to this fundraiser. There are networks of aid created for situations like this, please do not leave them abandoned. The most marginalized people in our society, like the SEA and African migrant workers, like the Palestinian refugees that make up my family reliving genocide again, like the Syrian refugees forced to flee to another warzone during these horrible times, the queer people abandoned by their families and pushed away from society. All of these communities will be assisted by this project.
Here are some of the situations migrant workers are finding themselves in during this time of war and the ethnic cleansing of Lebanon.
If you would like to continue supporting migrant workers in Lebanon outside of times of war / attempted genocide, this is an organization & network run by both former migrant workers and Lebanese advocates who are working to improve Lebanese society by naming and shaming the abuse migrant workers go through.
There's also a fundraiser set up today by Anti-Racism Movement (ARM), an ngo operating in lebanon since 2012 supporting migrant workers
Check out their instagram and website for more details on their work
Emmanuel Littlejohn has been waiting for months to find out whether he will die on Thursday or get to live. It's been "the hardest thing I ever did."
Littlejohn, 52, is set to be executed for the shooting death of a convenience store owner during a robbery in Oklahoma City in 1992. If Republican Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt declines to grant him clemency, Littlejohn will be the third inmate executed by the state this year and the 17th in the nation. He's also one of five men the U.S. is executing in a six-day period, and he's set to die just about eight hours before Alabama is expected to execute Alan Eugene Miller using nitrogen gas.
"I would say to the governor: Do what you think is the right thing," Littlejohn told USA TODAY in a recent interview.
Littlejohn has admitted to his role in the robbery but has maintained that his accomplice was the one to pull the trigger, not him.
"I accept responsibility for what I did but not what they want me to accept responsibility for," Littlejohn previously told USA TODAY. "They want me to accept that I killed somebody, but I haven't killed somebody."
In a rare move, the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board voted 3-2 to recommend clemency for Littlejohn, whose legal team argued that the evidence in the case was unclear, especially who the triggerman was.
Still, Republican Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond said afterward that his office would still be arguing against clemency to the governor, calling Littlejohn a "violent and manipulative killer."
If youโre outraged over Missouri murdering Marcellus Williams, then you should know Oklahoma is planning on carrying out an execution of Emmanuel Littlejohn this Thurs. at 10am.
Littlejohn was pardoned by the PPB. Thereโs still time to call the Governor: 405-521-2342.
I was able to leave a voicemail by pressing 1 then 4 then 0. After what happened in Missouri, there's an overwhelming sense of hopelessness that the care about public comments but I hope Emmanuel is able to avoid Khaliifah's fate.
Hi, the best thing to do is to call the Governorโs office directly and press 0 to be connected to a staff person. Ask that the governor respect the wishes of the pardon and parole board and grant clemency to Emmanuel Littlejohn. 405-521-2342
