Petalroot Forest is a quiet village on Mist Continent that is the perfect waypoint between Pokemon that want to live in their natural setting yet also want a community. Cheri, a veteran rescuer, is stationed at Petalroot Forest due to the lack of rescue teams in the area. Dealing with weird Pokemon and her withdrawn personality, she sees if she can truly make this forest a home rather than a station.

Themes include moving on, finding community, coping with trauma, and being your authentic self. Tone is generally slice of life but with some dangerous traveling here and there- Cheri is an explorer after all.

Current update schedule is whenever I have the energy

... so I know I've been on hiatus anyways and I'm literally still on the introduction. But would anyone mind if I rebooted the blog.

Sorry, I'm so hung up on how I've written Princely so far and I Do Not Like It. Plus I didn't really get Cheri's deal across very well.

(Also I'd kinda like to get into plot stuff rather than lingering on all this introduction. In this, Cheri would be in town already and have an idea of who these Pokemon are. Still a newer resident, and the premise is similar, but we get to the interesting stuff faster.)

Icon commission interest check

Hey! I’m thinking of opening up icon commissions so that I can get some holiday spending money. would anyone be interested in commissioning an icon from me? PMD style examples are below, though i’m not limited to it. Payment would be done through ko-fi, venno, or paypal, and I’m thinking the price would be about $10-15 depending on complexity (though this is subject to change)
