The (un-fucking-hinged) conversation that Snow had with Haymitch REALLY puts Peeta’s hijacking (SPECIFICALLY against Katniss) into perspective. Snow could have hijacked him to hate the rebellion, or district 12 or even himself. But no, that old loser just HAD to finally prove to one of those district 12 boys that their girl didn’t really love them, JUST like his didn’t really love him. Was it a smart move to potentially have Peeta attack Katniss on sight? Yes. But more importantly, it allowed Snow to control Peeta in a way that let him live out his own fantasies about being unloved and having power over his girl.

i will never ever be over this saga. ever.

sitting here once again thinking about how peeta promised katniss he’d stay with her and he DOES he stubbornly follows her to the end and he comes HOME to her because she’s the only home he has and of course he does because jabberjays are homing birds

Current book interpretations of the losers for the book

Cause the miniseries and the movie are so ingrained it's a little hard to separate those iterations from the book descriptions, bev can no longer be seen without bangs at least as her younger counterpart and Eddie older defo looks like a mix of the movie and miniseries eddie.

I feel like I was more generous with Bill's hair than the book was
