i like art history a lot (it's what i study at university) and i consume media like i do cake, quickly and enthusiastically. i am also a big fan of minecraft fishing mechanics

anyhow i like ttrpgs, minecraft, and a whole variety of other games, movies, tv shows, music and books :3

Tony’s Chocolonely Inc., a New York, New York Corporation, is voluntarily recalling seven lots of Tony’s brand Dark Almond Sea Salt Bar (6.35oz); and Everything Bar (6.35oz) because the product may contain small stones. The products were distributed nationwide and sold in the United States via retail stores and www.tonyschocolonely.com; distribution of the products began February 7, 2025 and ended March 24, 2025.

this recall only affects some lots of the dark almond sea salt bar and the everything bar, due to the rock problem. they were distributed nationwide in stores and on the internet. I included their pictures at the top.

The recall was initiated following 12 reports of consumers finding small stones in the product not filtered during third-party almond harvesting and the almond processing process. All complaints occurred outside of the United States and Canada, and no injuries were reported.

they found rocks after there were 12 reports that said hey. there are rocks in this. this can easily lead to dental problems if someone tries to bite full force on a rock and breaks a tooth or otherwise injures their mouth. dental infections can eventually become life-threatening even in people who are young and otherwise healthy. so it is a good thing nobody apparently ate the rocks yet. or at least, nobody got injured while potentially eating rocks. yet

If you have purchased one of the affected products with the specified lot codes and have not yet consumed it, you are advised not to eat the product. Please return the product to the store of purchase for a refund or replacement or dispose of the product. the desire to get bangs is currently leading to an internal war between my "do it yourself right now you want it so do it" impulse and my "aaaa but what if i fuck it up i should go to a hair stylist" impulse

it's like ww1 out there with trench warfare and no side is closer to victory. the DIY side is pointing out that if i keep putting it off until later i'll never do it but the nervous side is launching a counter-offensive by pointing out that i have literally no clue what i'm doing. DIY is responding by pointing at my bank account and then passive-aggressively gesturing at youtube dot com.

the conflict has just reached 182,457 civilian casualties

i have come to a resolution and decided that i will cut my own bangs tomorrow, even if i mess them up somewhat it won't be a big deal because like it's hair it'll just grow back or whatever :3

in the end the DIY army employed a masterful gambit by stressing the urgency of getting bangs both for making me less dysphoric and also for removing the one remaining obstacle towards me wearing makeup in public on a regular basis and won the war

i really hate myself sometimes for doing this thing where i get scared of doing something because i'm scared and then i feel bad because i didn't do the thing and now consequences happen because i haven't done the thing which makes me even more scared to do the thing and so then i don't do the thing and this repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and also i do this for literally everything in life from cooking dinner to emailing my doctor about serious medical issues

surely the guilt i feel for being incapable of doing basic tasks because of executive dysfunction will go away if i punish myself by isolating from all of my friends and loved ones and depriving myself of the things i enjoy… right?? :3

it's been like almost a month and like i'm doing a bit better.... :3

the self-isolation is still the thing i'm doing the worst though i struggle a lot with reaching out to people just in general and then the guilt of just going complete radio silence with a lot of the people i'm closest with is making it even harder to talk to them again :(

#idk i just feel awful for just cutting all contact with everyone for several weeks which is making me scared to try to reconnect again#i wish i was better at being a person and better at being a better person :(
