Out of all the possible trans headcanons to have in mp100, my favorite is Shou. There’s a few reasons, but mostly I like that there is no interpretation of his father’s reaction that isn’t hilarious.

A few off the top of my head, in descending order of comedy.

  1. “Daughter, we must speak.” “Dad, I’m actually… a boy.” “I see. So you’re transgender.” “Wait, you know what-” “Of course. I might not be a part of your generation, but I am still ‘hip with the kids’. World domination has nothing to do with how ‘woke’ you are.” “Never talk like that again.”
  2. “Daughter, we must speak.” “Dad, I’m actually… a boy.” “Hmmm, I see. You must have used your psychic powers to change your gender.” “…Yep.” “Our power puts us on top of the world. It only makes sense that the circumstances of our birth hold no power over us. This control over fate is an important step for you. I am proud of you… Son.” Shou, who expected to come out to a deranged megalomaniac, and is instead having the first positive interaction with his father in eight years, and is thus experiencing physical whiplash: “Awesome. Thanks. I’m gonna go throw up.”
  3. “Daughter, we must speak.” “Dad, I’m actually… a boy.” “…” “…” Touichirou, internally: Shit. Dammit. I was sure my kid was a girl. Surely I didn’t misremember. It’s only been, what, how long? Four years since my last visit? Okay that is a while. Crap. Maybe, it’s a joke? Like, a joke that kids do? No, she’s not lying. Or I guess, he’s not lying? Oh hell. How could- Shou, who is close to shaking with fear because his father has been silent for five minutes straight since he came out: “…” “………..” “…Uh, Da-” “I knew that.”

I'm Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of pursuing a degree in e-business management and building a career. However, due to my family's financial hardships, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (KYTC), affiliated with UNRWA. Sadly, the war has turned the college, once a beacon of hope and education, into a shelter for displaced families, stripping it of its educational purpose.

I completed high school with a 93% average, filled with excitement about continuing my education and securing a job to support my family. But like so many others, the war has shattered those dreams.

My younger brother, Ahmad, is 14 years old and currently in the third grade of preparatory school. We’ve always called him "Doctor of the Future" because of his intelligence and natural talent in mathematics. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing war, he has been deprived of schooling for the second consecutive year. In addition to his academic abilities, Ahmad has a passion for football and used to win tournaments.

Our Life in Displacement: The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Each day, my brother and I would wake up to fetch water, gather wood, and light a fire to prepare food. Survival became our daily task, but we never gave up hope. The conflict affected us deeply, but it did not extinguish our dreams of education and a better future.

🚀 How Your Donation will Help us:

We are seeking €29,000 to help Ahmed and me leave Gaza, continue our education. More importantly, it will allow us to support our family, who have been deeply affected by the harsh conditions and skyrocketing costs of living due to the ongoing war in Gaza.

We've outlined how your donations will make this possible. You can find all the details in the campaign link below.

Your contribution will not only help us escape the war-torn reality we live in but also give us the opportunity to rebuild our futures.

Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to our goal.

With deepest gratitude, Anas & Ahmed

im so torn how i feel about teru's epilogue haircut in the anime because like. on one hand you have the symbolism of it. his hair starts off very messy, but when we're given a look at his morning routine we're able to see that he is deliberately messing it up to maintain an appearance, much in the way he puts on this self confident tough guy persona to mask deep insecurity. after getting it shaved off and losing that persona, he replaces it with a wig (fun fact: big wig means someone important! idk if this is intentional or not bc i dont know if the phrase has a similar meaning in japanese but it is a fun visual pun in english at least) that is meant to sort of hide the imperfections of his messy past, and then after losing THAT wig along with his realization that the person he's been trying to model his life off is just as imperfect as he is, he grows out his natural hair again and keeps it neat in a style that he would have to really put in the effort to maintain.

on the other hand after that episode is i was fighting for my life to defend that hair style then closed my laptop, looked in the mirror, and realized i had the exact same hair cut.

We are a very very dumb, stupid people

Everyone deserves a little outlet today, grab a yummy snack, skirt a responsibility, play a cozy game - but no one is allowed to punish themselves on behalf of other’s ignorance. No one is allowed to keel over. Be a thorn in their side every day, and most importantly, be your own advocator. We live in spite of these people.

Hello 🖐️I am Hani I am 38 years old and my wife Noor is 33 years old We lived the most beautiful years of my life, I gave birth to Abdullah, Saleh and Salma, my family was beautiful, I had a beauty salon, my craft was one of the most beautiful hobbies I have, but the occupation destroyed my source of income and my home, it destroyed my health as well, I was seriously injured in my foot that made me unable to provide the basic and secondary requirements of my children Every day the pain increases more and more🍉🥺

Abdullah 🧒is 12 years old, my eldest son. I was waiting for the moment when he would enter middle school. Unfortunately, his school was completely destroyed, but in the war he lost his hobby of playing football. But in the war we lost everything beautiful.🌿

Salma👩‍🦰, my daughter, is 10 years old. She is one of the most beautiful princesses👑, but my heart bleeds when she tells me why we, the children, are different from the world.🍉🌹🌹

Saleh 👶is 6 years old. He is the joke of the house. He has many talents. He loved his kindergarten very much. He would wait for the morning to play with his friends and practice his hobby in his kindergarten. I am afraid to tell him that his kindergarten was destroyed. It destroyed his childhood and his laughter.♥️🇵🇸💔

Even my wife was not spared from this war that is devastating my entire family🧒🧒👩‍🦰👶. I was pregnant for 9🤰 months and unfortunately my daughter died at birth, due to poor nutrition😪🥺 and unhealthy living conditions for her and our baby.

We lack basic human needs, no food, no electricity, no water. We have been poisoned and infected🍞 by the unhealthy water🥛 we drink. During this period, she felt remorse at how difficult it was for a mother to see her children sick and unable to treat them because she is also very sick. I hope to provide us with support in order to cover the costs associated with ensuring our safe passage to Egypt across the border. Please stand with me, we are now homeless, with no children's needs such as education and food and drink. Please help us by donating to survive and leave Gaza with my children. Share this link as much as possible Note: my campaign is vetted by Femme intifada on telegram

Just to save our lives, nowthat I cannot afford, they want education because they are excellent and love knowledge, but I do not know what to do, my hands are tied and I cry over our situation, a whole school year wasted on them in the war, now I want you to help us educate these smart children and contribute to paying the rent of the house, please help us, we are a humanitarian case that deserves to be supported, may God bless your life and make you happy throughout your life.
