The production team on Project Hail Mary is so fucking stacked I'm so hyped this movie. It's written and produced by Drew Goddard who I'm already confident in because he did The Martian which was a great adaptation but he also created the Netflix Daredevil series and produced The Good Place which are two of my favorite shows. It's shot by Greig Fraser who did both Villeneuve Dune movies and The Batman, 3 of my favorite movies, and directed by Lord and Miller, who are the only people I'm slightly unsure about just because they don't have a ton of live action direction under their belts, but they've written, directed, and produced some of the best animated movies of the last 15 years so I'm not too worried. Now we just need to find out who the composer is and istg if it's Michael Giacchino this movie might be perfect. My favorite book being adapted by a writer who I know can adapt the book well, directed by the people who wrote and produced Spiderverse, shot by my favorite cinematographer, starring one of my favorite actors, and composed by my favorite film composer?? Can it be March 2026 already?? This movie was made for me specifically
