DNI same main blog. No syscourse. NSFW ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED.

Been seeing a lot of "endos DNI, also mixed origin systems and endo supporters included in the DNI too" lately, much more than usual. Which is absolutely ridiculous coming from the people claiming to protect "real DID/OSDD" systems, considering as long as you support endogenics you're added into the DNIs and grouped in as a "fake". Looks like they have their priorities straight! Definitely looks like it's about protecting disordered systems and not about simple exclusionism to me!

SO. On that sarcastic note.

Mixed origin systems, you deserve supportive spaces. You should be able to access both traumagenic and endogenic spaces if both apply to you. You don't deserve to be cast aside like that. If you have traumagenic aspects to your system, you belong in traumagenic spaces. If you have endogenic aspects to your system, you belong in endogenic spaces. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Disordered endogenic systems, you should have access to spaces for people with your disorder and I hope you're able to find the support you need. I hope you're able to avoid the discourse and find a community you can feel safe in. You're not less disordered because you're endogenic.

Systems of any origin with CDDs such as DID or OSDD who support endogenics, you shouldn't be barred from your own spaces because you support other groups. You deserve kindness, support, and community, just as anyone else does. Your support of endogenics does not and will never mean you should be removed from CDD spaces and it certainly doesn't mean you're unsafe for those with CDDs to be around.

Endogenic supporters of any kind, your support is immensely appreciated. You also don't deserve to be picked apart and cast out simply based on your support of a group of people. Genuinely thank you for supporting endogenics regardless.

holder headmates are funny af. this is Symptoms Georg he lives in my brain and has more of The Symptoms than everyone else. critical feature btw

Shoutout to systems who love being systems.

Shoutout to those who love being multiple and who love their systemmates. Shoutout to those who love systemhood and their parts. Shoutout to plurals who love the people in their heads. Shoutout to those who don't use these labels, but love themselves.

Shoutout to those who credit them being a system with them still being alive. Shoutout to those who know that their system is what allowed them to survive, and who refuse to be ashamed of that.

We should love who we are, disorder and all. We should not be made to feel like we must be miserable, just to exist. Just to thrive.

Good luck out there, everyone.

someone should invent a camera that can take pictures of what happens in headspace so you can show other people …… because there are so many unexplainable events that happen in here that you just need to see for yourself to understand

[ID: the top half of someone's face, with their hair done up in pigtails in a very childish way, tired-looking eyes, and a pink heart filter over the picture. Text split across the top and bottom of the picture reads: Bitches be like "be yourself / bitch I don't even know who I am ./ end ID]

[ID: a four panel comic by Sarah Andersen. A non-descript person says, "Everyone has inner demons." Then, shaking a fist, continues, "And we must FIGHT THEM!" The view cuts to see the artist in the middle of a tea party with their demon, both looking surprised and confused. They share a glance with each other, communicating their mutual feelings of confusion and disbelief at this declaration. / end ID]

Anways shoutout to my fellow folks who actually are incredibly GREATFUL to be a system/collective.

Shoutout to folks whose headmates have saved them from going through this alone.

Shoutout to folks whose headmates improve their life daily and keep them safe.

Shoutout to folks whose headmates help them with tasks around the house and take the load off your back.

Shoutout to folks with headmates who they're friends with, who they're partners with, who they genuinely love and find comfort in.

Shoutout to folks with headmates who took on your burdens and made them their own, simply to protect you.

Shoutout to folks who wouldn't be here without their headmates.

Final fusion isn't what all plurals want or need. Some of us need a little extra help in life, and sometimes that comes in the from of headmates.

Plurality is not all suffering all the time. It is not defined by whatever trauma or struggle you've gone through, and it shouldn't be treated as such.

Be kind to your fellow plurals and their headmates. Don't assume everyone detests their alters as much as you may.

btw 'syscourse' and plural infighting isn't accomplishing anything. back in the late 90s and early 2000s, the only communities and resources for plurals that were widely available were for and by non-traumagenic systems. the only people who were advocating for normalizing and accepting plurality on a large scale were non-traumagenic systems. if you did research into plurality 10 - 15 years ago, most of the results that came up would have been experiences written by spiritual and natural plurals.

many people at the time were expressing their dislike of forcing every single plural to identify as if they had trauma- many found this insulting to themselves, and rightfully so! no one should be forced to identify in a way they don't agree with just to rightfully be a part of a community they already occupy. this obsession with "you can only be plural if you have trauma" has only come about extremely recently. i found out about plurality through the otherkin community. i was actually told about DID by someone in the spiritual plurality community. people don't seem to understand that most non-traumagenic systems have respect for traumagenic systems and don't gatekeep their spaces to prevent us from entering.

older plural spaces on the web like healthymultiplicity accepted all plurals. the goal of the community was to show that you can live as plural and not have it be a tragedy or something to "fix". if anything, folks with dissociative disorders owe a LOT to non-traumagenic systems for pushing to normalize plurality without implying that we HAVE to integrate our headmates and try to stop being plural. a huge part of the early online plural community was there to push that plurals can and do live happy lives and shouldn't view their plurality as a bad thing

it's not going to make singlet society see us in a better light. it's not going to get people to understand plurality better. it's not going to get us better mental health resources. it's not going to improve the quality of care for dissociative and traumagenic systems. all you're doing is bullying someone else that you don't understand simply because you don't agree with them.

you're not going to recover from your trauma or understand your own plurality better by denying the existence of other types of plurality. you're not "making the community safer" by gatekeeping. telling other people how their brains work is policing their identities. whether or not you want to accept it, if you forcefully kick endos out of plural spaces, you are the cop you claim to hate.

fighting with people on your own team will never net you a victory. to every other dissociative and traumagenic system: endos are on your side. you are wearing the same jersey. you are made of the same flesh and blood. enough. come together to share your similarities instead of fighting over differences. celebrate the diversity that plurality offers. don't take someone else's identity personally. someone can share the space with you without having to match exactly how you identify. diversity is what makes a community thrive.

Anonymous asked:

Plural culture is seeing the duality of systems that didn't know what plurality was pre-syscovery and those who did, sometimes it kinda feels like:

"A voice?? In my head?? How queer!! I've never heard such a thing- I must inquire about this further with a therapist post-haste!"

"i guess i doin we now"

it's a little funny/silly that non plural ppl go "ohhh being a system would be so cool I would be less alone omg!!!"

you would be less alone true, but in truth, you'd also have to deal with migraines, involuntary switches, annoying co-consciousness, having people treat your plurality like a zoo 😭

you do you and take ur time discovering your own plurality it's a trip, and prepare yourself for possible new system members that form over stuff you became really fixated on lol

another thing is dealing with extreme ableism from people especially from non systems who think they speak for plural people

many times people have tried to fake claim me or be an armchair psychiatrist about my experience with being plural.
