Chris is in a good place. I don't want to damage him. You're his dad. He doesn't have a mom. If you don't damage him, who will? It's your job. I would have to kick my dad off the bus. They're taking a bus? Yeah, with limited seating, apparently.

eddie's going to tell chris about what his parents did to him with the ballroom dancing. and chris will mention it to buck to try to embarrass his dad. and buck will tease eddie about it over facetimes for months until eddie and chris come back. and then that very first night they're home buck will start teasing him again and eddie will say something about buck having two left feet and buck will whisper well why don't you teach me then and eddie will huff a laugh but buck will be looking so openly and earnestly at him and eddie will be positioning him before he's even made the decision and they'll slow dance together in their kitchen and eddie will laugh when buck steps on his foot and buck will try to laugh but. oh. oh.
next episode eddie is gonna hear buck's voice in his head telling him "you went out there to be christopher's dad" and then he is going to DAD UP
he didn’t even hear Buck’s voice in his head he literally HEARD BUCKS VOICE. SAYING THIS TO HIM!!!!!!
Even though I wanted Eddie to yell at his parents, I think the way he did it was much more a slap in the face to Helena than yelling every would be.
If Eddie had yelled, Helena would’ve twisted it to make herself the victim and that Eddie is over reacting.
Instead Eddie walked in with a smile on his face and said Chris is my son and he’s coming home with me.
He showed that Helena doesn’t have any power over him anymore.
And that is more devastating to someone like her than a screaming match ever could be.
