she/her | late 20's| i don't know what this blog is| but it's fun

"why am i like this" i ask myself knowing damn well it's because i was obsessed with the beatles at a very young age

maybe if you’re not a feminist then you’re just a misogynist and like… I don’t think there’s any “in between”. because feminism is not hating men. feminism is not thinking men deserve less than women. feminism is not rooting for manipulative females. feminism is not thinking abusive women should not face any consequences if their victims are men. feminism is not girlboss. feminism is not women superior. feminism is the belief that men and women are equal, so if you’re not a feminist then I think it’s safe to assume you think women deserve less than men, and that sounds misogynistic to me idk

it really is crazy how quickly people were willing to just let chatgpt do everything for them. i have never even tried it. brother i don't even know if it's just a website you go to or what. i do not know where chatgpt actually lives, because i can decide my own grocery list.

pretentious moment incoming but why is everyone's idea of fashion so fucking boring these days. why the fuck did my manager just ask me "what's with the scarf". "what's with the scarf" fuck man do I need a reason to wear a faggy little scarf now? you could just say "nice scarf man". what's with your attitude

17 years ago today.. the biggest rockstar move in history.

The look of satisfaction says everything

There are a lot of photos that were purposefully edited or shot in a way that made it look just absolutely abysmal, but in reality? It was a damn good look.

Should also be noted, this wasn't an entirely spur of the moment thing as everyone tried to make it seem. She had actually scheduled and sat down at her stylists/hair dressers office, and told them she wanted them to shave her head — but they wouldn't do it, tried to convince her not to do it, and so Britney ended up doing it herself, which is why the original photos were rather horrible — she was shaving her head for the first time, not using the proper tools, and didn't get every spot, or anywhere close to even.

I've been shaving my head for ten years now, and it took me a good two years to do it properly, and I still mess up fairly often.

She talked about it in 2008 by saying:

“I was going through so much artificial stuff with my kids and Kevin at the time [her ex-husband had just taken her kids from her]. He’d just left me and I was devastated... People thought that it was me going crazy and stuff like that, but people shave their heads all the time. I was going through a lot, but it was just kind of like me going through a little bit of rebellion, or feeling free, or shedding stuff that had happened, you know?”

I don’t like modern!eddie bc I’m an old man at heart and the idea of Eddie having a tiktok is heinous to me 😩 that boy wouldn’t be on TikTok he’d have a weird multifandom tumblr where he reblogs LOTR slash fanfic and a YouTube channel where he posts about music theory and streams Elden ring gameplay that literally like 12 people watch because he films on the grainiest webcam known to man.

I don't vibe with modern Eddie, unless we're talking about the 60 year old man he would be today. I also have a very firm frame of reference for the kind of guy Eddie represents because they're people I've known my whole life. I chalk this up to one of the reasons my writing never went "big" in the fandom, and I'm ok with that. Eddie Munson, the character, is absolutely supposed to be a product of his time.

This! He’s a product of the time! His entire character is inspired by satanic panic and removing it from that context is never as entertaining for me. (This isn’t a dig at people who enjoy or write it, just isn’t for me)

You know that when Paul got word of Mr. Mescal playing him in the Biopic, he was all like, "Yes!! I am a masculine man with heterosexual abs and am manly! He is the perfect actor to portray me."

And Paul's team was like, "whatever you say, queen."
