Crazy how many people want characters in fiction to speak and act like theyโ€™ve had 20 hours of intensive therapy. Could NOT be me I want these bitches fucked up insane

my friend briar and i lovingly call this one โ€˜therapy speak jokerโ€™ and it almost caused her to drop biological samples one time

i think the joker should start talking like this for real. no other character should do this only the joker. i want batman to have to deal with this

If you donโ€™t let go of your prejudices and past grudges, your heart wonโ€™t blossom. 2013 is coming, letโ€™s make a change. We only have one planet so letโ€™s show each other some kindness.

did u guys hear abt that intern fired from that law firm bc she bit like 10 people. im kinda obsessed with her god i wish there was footage

need her url

I object to the qualifier "faux-quirky." I think if she's biting people in the office, some authentic quirkiness has been earned.

every time someone says โ€œlook how theyโ€™re looking at each other! theyโ€™re in love!โ€ about a non-canon ship i just think of the kuleshov effect for a second but then i come to my senses and decide to have fun

ok iโ€™m going to explain the kuleshov effect because im a film student and its fascinating to me. basically its the principle of film storytelling that states that you can juxtapose a blank expression with an image and the audience will read a different emotion from the expression depending on the juxtaposed image. its incredibly interesting to me.

god prev fucking thank you . jesus . i didnโ€™t have the energy to put it into words

Happy birthday to Lyudmila Pavlichenko (born July 12, 1916), Soviet sniper in World War II, with 309 confirmed kills.

A true role model for today.

A fay late but a huge happy birthday to a woman who understood the assignment.

My friend Mosab's daughter, Lama, has been injured in a bombing in Gaza and is in need of donations to help save her life.

His family doesn't have money for food and his wife even collapsed from hunger and his daughter regularly cry to him for food.

Please please help this family meet their basic needs so they can escape this genocide. They have survived through hell the past nearly 2 years. Please don't let them die now just because of hunger.

i hate when a piece of kids media is so well made that people start saying "clearly this was made FOR adults not for silly little babies. we are the true target demographic" like cmon man. you don't have to pretend it's something it isn't. sometimes things that are made for 12 year olds are good.

Also things for children SHOULD be good. I WANT children to have smart, well written media. We need to stop treating children as stupid babies who donโ€™t deserve good media. The best childrenโ€™s media is the media that still holds up as an adult and that you donโ€™t feel stupid for having liked when you were younger.

The inability of a certain subset of blockheaded fans to notice Kris's gender is so. This is a game which places a nonbinary protagonist in a narrative that has them struggling explicitly with how much control they are allowed to have over their own life, whose best friends are a girl who is gleefully unfeminine and a boy who has no idea who he's supposed to be but sure seems to like being pretty, after the first few seconds of the game consisted of us trying to create our own form and then being told point blank "no one can choose who they in this world," where the above three children are all being railroaded into and struggling to escape their roles in a religiously per-ordained questline that we know ends very badly for them. If you think gender is not being employed here in a way that is specific, intentional, and thematically relevant then you are not serious
