There is a lot of misinformation going around about Mahmoud Khalil. Please read this if you have read or posted about the case.

Mahmoud Khalil was arrested on March 9th by ICE agents in public, as he was returning to his apartment. His arrest was legal and was conducted in a legal manner. Neither ICE nor the police need a warrant to arrest someone in public, on the street.

Mr. Khalil has not been "dissappeared." He is being held in Central Louisiana ICE Processing Center in Jena, Louisiana. He has been assigned a public defender. Her name is Amy Greene. He has a deportation hearing set for tomorrow (March 12th) with a judge, in which the judge will review the case.

Also under US Law: one of the conditions of being granted a greencard is that one not be involved in activities that could be argued to be in support of a designated terror organization. Well.

I am not the judge who will be reviewing Mr. Khalil's case. But I find it hard to make an argument that being a leader of an explicitly pro Hamas organization is not supporting terrorism.

Guys, listen. The amount of misinformation I have seen immediately regurgitated about this man, about how his rights have been violated, by fellow Jews, is absurd. Trump is evil. That does not mean we have to make shit up about how an open Hamas supporter is being unfairly attacked. This ENTIRE issue is about whether or not supporting antisemitic terrorism should be considered supporting terrorism. Of course it should be! This is literally just equal application of the law, something we have gotten so used to not happening when it comes to Jews that we are now making up reasons to defend someone who's rights were not violated and openly wants to kill us.

There are so many. SO MANY illegal and unethical arrests and deportations happening every single day. Why on earth is Jumblr deciding to go to bat for this man of all people, and act like THIS CASE, of all cases, is one that needs to be fought against? Why are we acting like this case, of all cases, is some flagrant violation of the law that should be used to highlight how evil Trump is?

I'm sorry but have we lost our minds? Literally nothing about this man's arrest was illegal and his right to due process has not been violated in any way. The ONLY reason this is getting attention is that people believe SO strongly that they should have the right to organize rallies in support of a terrorist organization that's stated goal is to kill the Jews. That's it! That's the only issue. Not even his lawyers are claiming there was some violation of this man's right to due process. This issue is ENTIRELY about whether or not it's "free speech" for someone who agreed not to support terrorism as a condition of being granted a greencard, should have the right to support terrorism specifically if it's terrorism directed at Jews. That's it! That's it. Please. Please PLEASE. Can we focus on the ICE raids happening at the school my roommate works at? Can we stop going along with this violently antisemitic delusion that the legal deportation case against a pro terrorism rally organizer is the ideal case to prove how unfair and illegal these deportations are? What the fuck?

Cory Booker has been talking in the senate for over 20 hours now

He’s not filibustering. He’s protesting the current administration.

For those of you from outside the US or those of you who didn’t pay attention in government class, in the US senate there’s really no limit to the amount of time a senator can speak. So sometimes if they don’t want a bill to pass they just. Don’t stop talking. To hopefully get past the deadline to vote on a bill. This is called filibustering.

Senator Cory Booker isn’t doing that. He’s disrupting “the normal business of the United States Senate for as long as I am physically able”. Just in protest. This doesn’t usually happen.

He’s less than 20 minutes away from breaking the record of the longest speech given on the senate floor

Cory Booker has officially broken Strom Thurmond’s record for longest speech on the senate floor and he’s still going

For those of you wondering what he’s been talking about this whole time, his staff wrote down a bunch of stuff for him to read like stories from people across the political spectrum opposed to what the administration is doing. He’s also been telling personal anecdotes about meeting important civil rights leaders and other democratic senators have been pausing him for “questions” but the questions have been as long as a small speech and have both served the purpose of giving him a second to sit down and updating him on the news that he’s been missing while he’s been talking.

He has yielded the floor at 25 hrs and 4 mins. His eyes are so wide they look like they’re going to bug out of his skull so I don’t blame him for stopping. He said to go out and get in some good trouble.

To be clear, he didn't actually get to sit down. The rules say you can only keep talking as long as you're standing.

Also, that record he broke? Was held by a man opposing the Civil Rights Act of 1957, which was intended to protect voting rights for Black citizens.

John Lewis was so outraged by what was happening during the civil rights movement that he started donating time as a lawyer pro bono. His work included setting up housing stings to catch real estate agents who were refusing to sell to Black families.

One of the agents he stung was representing a white family, who said "fuck that and fuck you, we'll sell directly to this Black family...."

....and that's the house Cory Booker grew up in.

Strom Thurmond and his ilk pissed off pre-Senator John Lewis so badly that Lewis started doing legal work that would lead to a Black boy living in a mostly-white neighborhood with very good schools and that Black boy would grow up to be a Black man who became a Black Senator who just destroyed Strom Thurmond's famous record speaking in defense of the ordinary people of our nation and let me tell you not only is truth sometimes stranger than fiction, the wheel of justice grinds slow but exceeding fine and it just turned Strom Thurmond to fucking dust.

And he wore a pin in support of getting the Jewish hostages kidnapped by Hamas home. This shouldn't have to be seen as brave, but in the current climate, it is. Thank you Cory Booker.

"Booker began speaking on the Senate floor at 7 p.m. Monday evening to protest President Donald Trump's policies.

At 7:19 p.m. on Tuesday, Booker broke Thurmond's record of 24 hours and 18 minutes, which he made while speaking against the Civil Rights Act of 1957, the first major civil rights bill since Reconstruction."

"Booker said that he decided to undertake the marathon speech because Democrats have a "responsibility" to "do something different" in the face of the unprecedented changes taking place in the first few months of Trump's second term as president.

"I've been hearing from people all over my state and indeed all over the nation calling upon folks in Congress to do more," Booker said in a video posted to X before taking to the floor. "To do things that recognize the urgency, the crisis of the moment."

Booker said he plans to speak for as long as he is "physically able to." He cannot sit or leave the Senate floor for a bathroom break; otherwise, he would lose his right to hold the floor. If he doesn't leave or sit down, no senator can stop him."

greatest philosophical questions of the century: are children's cartoons politically significant? do audiobooks count as reading? is booktok destroying women's brains? are a middle class americans the most oppressed group of all time? who's stupider: children or schools? is sexual inexperience the truest sin? are pad users more oppressed than tampon users? should people eat quinoa specifically if we ignore all other foods on earth? is taylor swift underrated or overrated? is it pedophilia to dress stupid? is intra lgbt community slur reclaiming okay? does autism stop you from going to the club? is being a misogynist actually more progressive than not being a misogynist? france? should people who don't like spoilers be killed on the street or should people who say spoilers be killed on the street? is calling something gross fascism except when i do it? is it more progressive to be bilingual? among others

"Why does Group A deserve human rights if Group B doesn't have them?"

Both groups deserve human rights. That's how human rights work.

Anyone who convinces you to barter one group's rights against another is not interested in giving them to either group.

Hey. Look at me. Please leave yourself a note somewhere you'll see it later that says "it is going to take years if not decades to get the United States government to the level of functionality it had in November of 2024." If we elect a democrat in 2028, we are not going to be up and running by 2032.

Please make sure you have a reminder in your phone reminding you to not look at 2028/32/36 Democratic candidates and say "why are they not promising/delivering Cool Shit?" because you are going to understand that to get Cool Shit we must have competent people running a decently funded government, and we are not going to have that.

We are not getting UBI. We are not getting single payer healthcare. We are not getting free college or free preschool. We are not redistributing wealth on a large scale. We are not getting free internet. We are not getting ranked choice voting.

If we are lucky, we are going to get an IRS that can collect taxes, qualified schoolteachers, research grants, Social Security, and a government that thinks maybe it should be a priority for people around the worlds to not have AIDS, malaria or TB.

To be clear, I don't mean we should forget or take our eyes off the ultimate long-term goals of getting Cool Shit, but to get there, we're gonna have to support things like "half-measures" and "small steps" and "not tearing down people who won't get us all the way there" and "understanding that they are starting from the basement basically because every government institution is being decimated"

Hey why'd you tag that post from @ Autistic_front as "left antisemitism"? They openly refer to themselves as "further right than you can imagine", pose with a confederate flag on their insta, and says the N word despite not being Black. I don't think there was a single indication in the post nor on any of their socials to indicate they're a leftist?

How did you come to that conclusion? (Genuine question)

@hydrogenperfoxide If I see someone with an anime profile pic who self describes themselves as autistic complaining about white people I think it's fair to assume that person is left wing. Especially with how much rabid antisemitism has been coming from the left for the past 17 months. Do you have a link to where they self describe as right wing? I'll change my tag to right wing antisemitism if so.

Totally normal messaging from CUNY pro-Palestinian students:

“Embody our martyrs and fighters and take to the streets of New York City.”

Day of rage just means pogrom as we knoe from their finals week and their October 7th anniversary events

Honestly wanna see them try. I can think of no city in the US more hostile (in general but also specifically) to a bunch of people running around shouting about jihad and taking over the city. That 9/11 spirit will kick in all over again and those kids will get beat and chased all the way to New Jersey by half-rabid firefighters.

Depends on the neighborhood. Not everyone in NY has the spine to tell terrorists to shove it up their ass anymore. Some people who absolutely love to do that are moving out. the frustration of paying for the privilege of a city gov that does nothing or protects Hamas wannabes more than people walking to and from school has kind of killed the city.

@smegol unfortunately NY is kind of the heart of the wol/sjp protests (WOL used to be known as Students for a justice in Palestine NYC until 2019)

@smegorl NYC has been absolutely wallpapered with posters and graffiti glorifying Hamas for the past 17 months. Columbia students regularly walk around the Upper West Side wearing full Hamas outfits and carrying their flag. No one is doing anything. These "peaceful protesters" took over campus for weeks and kidnapped a janitor. The Manhattan DA dropped all charges. Jewish buisnesses in the area are regularly defaced with pro Hamas symbols and have had their windows smashed. The protesters have repeatedly taken over Jewish museums, surrounded Jewish hospitals, and caused academic and religious buidings to be evacuated do to bomb threats. Visibly Jewish people are spat on, followed, and physically attacked on the regular. Hate crime statistics are up by hundreds of percentage points. Protesters repeatedly took over subway cars in 2023 and 2024 and forced all the "Zionists" to get out. Everyone sees this happening and no one does anything. The "protesters" usually get overwhelming support from the generally left leaning population, and extremely sympathetic media coverage. Gentiles in NYC are not doing shit. No one is going to save us but ourselves.

It's just so hopeless. The main "pro Palestine" student organization was already investigated under the Biden administration and found to be partially funded by Hamas. Now there's ironclad proof that student organizers had prior knowledge of the Oct 7th attacks and that instead of reporting it, they coordinated a planned propaganda campaign in support of it that began before the attacks even started. And no one is going to give a shit. This should be headline news. It should have been headline news last year when the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability found they were being funded by Hamas. But it wasn't, and it won't be now either. I'd bet a good chunk of my savings that no non-Jewish news networks besides Fox News and the NY Post will pick this story up at all. Even those will just run it once before going back to their regularly scheduled programming about how immigrants are coming to eat your cats and dogs.

It's so fucking crazy. We have actual terrorist propaganda arms operating out of Ivy League universities, that are receiving funds from their parent terror organizations, that are being given prior knowledge of terrorist attacks in order to coordinate propaganda campaigns in support of them. And no one is doing anything about it. No one is even talking about it. The media coverage these university organizations recieve is entirely positive and sympathetic. No one ever mentions that they were already previously found to be receiving funds from Hamas and no one ever brings up how their own stated goals in their own words is the support of Hamas and the "total eradication of Western Civilization." The second any of these universities face any consequences for allowing their students to operate as actual terrorist collaborators, the entire planet freaks out and says the peaceful anti war protesters are being oppressed. What the fuck is going on right now. Sometimes I can't even fault gentiles for claiming we're all being hysterical and lying, because this is all so insane and hard to believe.

So just to summerize:

-The student organizations at Columbia University knew Hamas's name for the Oct 7th terror attacks before the attacks happened. An undisclosed number of the 80 "pro Palestine" organizations on campus had already signed a statement in support of the attacks before they happened, with the rest signing on while the attacks were ongoing.

-One of the Israeli hostages who was held by Hamas for 246 days has stated that the Hamas members who held him hostage bragged to him about how they'd been in contact with Columbia student organizations and were providing them financial and other support.

-The Columbia SJP organization was shut down after an investigation during the BIDEN administration found that they were in fact being partially funded by Hamas. (This investigation happened before Mr. Ziv came forward about what Hamas members had told him and is unrelated).

-The Columbia SJP posted 3 minutes before the Oct 7th attacks started saying "We are back!!" after months of inactivity.

-Columbia student organizations circulated a pro Palestine "toolkit" in reaponse to the attacks, while the attacks were still ongoing on Oct 8th, that was large and complex enough that plaintiffs believe they can argue it must have been prepared in advance.

I don't really know what to say anymore. Are we still going to pretend these organizations are simply peaceful protesters. Are we going to keep ignoring how they wave Hamas and Houthi and Al Qaeda and Taliban flags at their rallies. Are we still going to deliberately ignore how these organizations scream all day and night about how their goal is to support Hamas and other antisemitic terror groups in their quest to kill every Jew on the planet. When is the mainstream media going to start reporting on this? When is anyone else besides Jews going to care? Multiple terror attacks planned by leaders of these student organizations have already been foiled. Multiple synagogues have already been blown up in Europe and Australia "for Palestine." Clearly terror attacks against Jews are not enough to get the world's attention. Do these kids have to blow up a bus full of gentiles before everyone and their mother stops covering for them and admits that actively coordinating with Hamas to support the Oct 7th attacks before they happened is not a "peaceful ceasefire anti war protest?"
