Heyyyy.... Do you want to know the whole story i did for my new character?

SO HERE IS MY DEAR BEVERLY BLACK

A character i made a reeeaaalllyyy long time ago and only now i finally finished her story. So here is allll the story i did for her (so far).

Again this is going to be incredibly long so buckle up.

Beverly Black is a pureblood witch, born in June 18th of 1889, and is a 6th year in Hogwarts that was sorted into Slytherin House.

Backstory: Beverly is the daughter of Iola Black (Phineas's younger sister) and a pureblood father whom Iola was forced to marry. After Beverly was born, her mother ran away with a muggle man and was disowned from her family, having to leave her behind. However, Iola did love her daughter very much and named her with the famous muggle name Beverly, hoping that she wouldn't turn out like the rest of her biggoted family.

Her father on the other hand was disgusted with her and her name, and never took responsability for his child, making the Black family take her in instead. She was ought to stay with her aunt Elladora (Phineas's other younger sister) who was the one who started the family tradition of beheading house elves when they got too old to carry tea trays...so you can kinda understand the kind of person Beverly was stuck with.

Even though Beverly was obviously unwanted, she was born with the gift of legilimency, and rumors said that her gift was almost as strong as Salazar Slytherins's (also know as the best legilimens in history).

Elladora tried to be somewhat kind towards her besides her cold and demanding nature, so she was able to use her gift for her own gain. So throughout her life Beverly was made to read the minds of scared muggles and bloodtraitors to amuse her aunt.

Beverly of course was horrified with the purebloods weird habits and completly disagreed with them, and since a young age she terribly related to her mother, and her desire to find her and be with her grew.

The summer before her first year: Before starting her time in Hogwarts, Beverly and her aunt were invited to the House of Gaunt due to their friendly connections.

While her aunt was distracted and talking to Ms. Gaunt about how Muggleborns were disgusting creatures or something, Beverly went to explore, since the other Gaunts were working or didin't live there anymore.

During her little quest she was able to find Ominis Gaunt's old room. The Room was dirty and clearly wasn't tended in a long time, but that did not kill Beverly's curiosity.

In a hidden corner in his room, she found a few of his aunt Noctua's old writtings and letter's.

(In my cannon Noctua was a great polititian, writer and probably a historian and she used to write to Ominis about her ideals and motives, for him to also reflect and understand why she didn't believe in the same things as his family.)

Noctua's writtings inspired Beverly and made her feel understood like no one else could. And from that day forward she kept the letter's and absolutely embraced Ominis and Noctua's way of thinking.

During Hogwarts: Her time in Hogwarts was very busy and filled with questions. Beverly wanted to know if there was any more pureblood children who were opressed and belittled by their families, and protect Muggleborns and Halfbloods from pureblood bullies (even though she had to do that a bit discretly so her family didn't find out)

She was able to find children just like her, and decided to show them Noctua's writtings to discuss with them about all the different ideas to make the world a better place. (She basically started a Noctua Gaunt fan club).

In her 5th year she became Slytherin's Quidditch captain, a position she would be in until graduating Hogwarts. She was also a very popular girl due to her supportive and cool personality, so she was friends with almost everyone in Hogwarts.

Becoming Amelia's apprentice: In her 6th year Beverly was able to convince her aunt to let her meet Amelia Blackwood (a chief auror and the minister's advisor). Amelia was impressed with Beverly's initiative to help others, and decided to tutor her, and help her with her cause.

For years Beverly saw Amelia as a mother figure and friend, and Amelia proudly saw her as a daughter, inviting her to many family dinners and parties. She even got to meet Ominis (now under a new surname), through Amelia since she always knew Beverly really admired him and his aunt. Ominis loved to meet Beverly and was pleased to know that his aunt had a great impact in many peoples lives (if only she were alive to see it...).

Adulthood: When she graduated, Beverly started working for the ministry and became an advocate for the equal rights of Muggleborns, Halfbloods and Purebloods, organizing many protests against pureblood supremacy. She also worked along side many aurors, political figures, and of course Amelia and Ominis.

Death: Even though Beverly had a promising future, she unfortunately died at the age of 26 by the hands of the Black Family. Her cousins killed her in cold blood in one of her protests with the killing curse and erased any trace of her life and work in text books, records, etc.

Even after her passing, her legacy still lives on in a few peoples hearts, like Amelia and Ominis who were heartbroken by her death, and swore to make her efforts and ideals live, and never allow that the things she fought so dearly to disappear.

The one thing that Beverly never got to do after all her sacrifices and efforts, was to meet her mother, but Im sure that somewhere Iola knows how she turned out and Iola is so very proud.

Other headcannons: -Due to Beverly having very powerfull legilimency she is always reading other peoples thoughts even if She doesn't want to, so meals in the great hall, or any other crowded places were a pain for her to stay in.

-Even though Beverly did organize many protests, she wasn't a well known figure and often struggled to get the attention of important people.

-She was a very team oriented Quidditch captain, she always made sure that her team was well taken care of and because of that the Slytherin Quidditch team was well known for winning many matches during Beverly's time in Hogwarts ( Imelda would be proud ;)

Well this is all i wrote about her so far, i really love characters who have causes and want to make the world a better place.
