Suggesting that we use ultermisogyny to refer to the specific discrimination against intersex people transitioning to femininity.

It would apply to all intersex transfems and intersex people who choose to only identify as ulterfem. Ultermisogyny can, of course, be experienced by all intersex people, but ultermisogyny exists to highlight the intersection of transphobia, misogyny and intersexism against intersex trans/ultergendered people, namely intersex transfems.

Quoiintersex

Quoiintersex is a label for intersex people who do not know their specific variation or "condition." A quoiintersex person is someone who is intersex, and their lived experiences match that of an intersex person.

Someone who is quoiintersex may know their intersex traits, i.e. hormonal differences, secondary characteristics, gonadal variations, etc. but not the specific diagnosis due to the systematic medical erasure of sex variation.

This label is not for "transintersex" or people who claim to be "brain intersex."

qıztäkä / кызтәкә

a flag for turkic intersex and / or trans people who reclaim the degendering slur кызтәкә / qıztäkä which is used against trans and intersex people

END ID] кызтәкә / qıztäkä is a kazan tatar compound word consisting of the word "qız" (кыз) meaning girl and тәкә (täkä) meaning ram. this word is used against trans and intersex people to this day as a slur in many turkic regions and countries. only turkic trans and turkic intersex people can use this word (not only tatar ones of course).

Ultcis - being both cisgender and ultergender, at the same time or fluidly. This could mean "being cis by perisex standards" and identifying as ultergender, but can also mean other things. The flag is the color of the iso flag combined with colors from these two flags 1 2, and design elements from these ones

Ulteris - being both isogender and ultergender, at the same time or fluidly.

Ablter - being both absgender and ultergender, at the same time or fluidly.

Ulterque - being both utrinquegender and ultergender, at the same time or fluidly. Or being utrinquegender because of being ultergender.

First flag is the the ultergender flag mixed with the tris flag h and I made. The second flag is the Ultrans and Ultcis flags from this post combined. The third is the ultergender flag combined with the most common tris flag. [These are exclusively for intersex use]

Hyperandrogender

An exclusive gender identity for intersex individuals who feel that their hyperandrogenism has an important impact on their gender.

Interfluid

An intersex exclusive term for intersex people who are fluid through gender modalities such as transfemininity, transmasculinity, transneutraulity, transoutherinity, transxeninity, etc.

Transfoymirl

An exclusive identity for intersex individuals who are transfeminine trans boys and transmasculine trans girls fluidly or simultaneously.

The etymology of transfoymirl comes from a combination of "transfem boy" and "transmasc girl."

Those who identify as transfoymirl may also be referred to as "transfem t-boy transmasc t-girl" and "transfemmasc t-boygirl."

hello all, i noticed a lack of resource online for people who are curious about intersex genital mutilation scarring later in life without having to dig through surgery gore photos. i threw together some diagrams here (content warning for discussion of IGM and drawn genitalia diagrams) of the major surgeries that are completed on intersex children. worth noting this is based purely on my own research, and i am not a doctor, and i of course am not running around doing these surgeries myself. im absolutely free to corrections or adding more diagrams if other surgeries are brought up.

Does anybody here know how the Chinese intersex community views perisex usage of the term yinyang ren (陰陽人) as a cultural gender?

All the intersex sources I've found on the term describe yinyang ren as either just a term for intersex, or as a reclaimed slur for intersex.

The old website of OII-Chinese, as quoted by @whimsy-flags, described it as:

Yet I've also found a handful of sources from the perisex non-binary community that seem to view the term as a "third gender" for androgynous/bigender people, that oh just so happens to also sometimes include intersex people. I've noticed the sources that seem to be doing this are either members of the Chinese diaspora or just... not Chinese? 🤔

(edit to add: Chinese Wikipedia's entry for 陰陽人 is just a redirect to the entry on intersex/sex, and Wiktionary also indicates it's a word for intersex).

As an outsider it looks to me like the issue of perisex enbies being insensitive and thinking it's okay if they call themselves the h-word, combined with the issue of Global North wishful thinking about cultural genders. 😕

But I'm not Chinese, it's not my culture. I could be missing important context! I'd like to know if I'm reading this situation correctly or if I'm missing something. Thanks! 💜
