We need to erase the light in a character's eyes more often. It's enriching for them to look completely hopeless and lost
insisting that there is no politically viable alternative to incarceration (in the form of reeducation camps or detention centers of whatever kind) is a position that is incompatible with prison abolition. the function of saying that there is no alternative to incarceration, is that you are supplying an argument against prison abolition. do me a favour and at least own that about your politics. you can ask me for an alternative to prisons (as though the form of the question doesnt mean asking me for something that fills the same institutional role as a prison) all you like. but you arent showing me that you want to abolish prisons, youre asking me to admit that wanting to abolish prisons is misguided. if im being a little rude, what it feels like youre actually asking is my complicity. you cant have it.
your post is bad. remain in samsara
Luigi Mangione has been locked up since December 2024, and he's been met with nothing but the violation of his rights every step of the way. Luigi's right to be treated humanely is constantly violated, as is his right to the presumption of innocence and a fair trial. Evidence is not being provided to his legal team, and he's being treated with prejudice by law enforcement.
Luigi is not a handsome face and a few jokes online. He is a real human being with real pain and real health issues. Luigi is a young man fighting for his life and the media is doing nothing but trying to sexualize him and make light of his situation.
Luigi has already lost so much to this, and although he remains resilient, it's important to remember that his circumstances can't possibly be good. It's also important to remember that if they can do it to Luigi, they can do it to more people, to your loved one, to you.
So please, keep talking about Luigi. Keep standing by Luigi. Keep supporting Luigi.
Never let Luigi Mangione walk alone.
the spirit is unwilling and the flesh it feels not so good also
oh no notes for me thanks i just wanted my post to be on this ugly ass dashboard next to yours

Day 3 of @feanorianweek!
Celegorm and his final moments with Dior!
Being an evil doppelganger has to be so fucked up like imagine meeting a better version of yourself. Some chain of events going differently that led to "you" being a better person in a way you can never achieve. Personally I'd have no other option but to try and kill them
It's always "oh no my evil clone or twin or whatever is trying to kill me" and never How is my evil clone? Says a lot about society
Me, crashing the fuck out: you think you're better than me? You think you're fucking better than me???
My good clone, dodging a glass: I mean like objectively yeah
an artist
so as you might have guessed because I said I was camping in the woods to avoid getting sick (lol):
someone in my household has covid unfortunately but we did manage to get them a Paxlovid subscription. theyβre uninsured, and even GoodRx coupons only brought the cost down to $1,300 USD.
I thought to check the drug manufacturer website and quickly signed up online through its portal and received a pharmacy card by email that lowered the cost to $0
There are also options for insured patients to dramatically lower their copays. Iβm in the U.S., and Iβm unsure whether this is applicable elsewhere, but I wanted to share this info on access to potentially lifesaving medication, for anyone it may help!
golf sucks but mini golf is fucking awesome....truly one of life's great paradoxes
golf:
- wastes crazy amounts of space and water
- soul-crushingly boring
- extremely frustrating to all but the highest level of players (most golfers will never even shoot par)
- prohibitively expensive (golf clubs are very costly and one round of golf can cost $100+)
mini golf:
- 18 holes will fit into an area the size of a small park; most courses use astroturf, which doesn't even require water
- a fun game of skill to challenge your friends to
- easy to get into, but difficult to master
- cheap (you and your friends can probably play for like, $20)
- BONUS: cool obstacles and gimmicks (windmills, water features, secret holes, etc.)
Golf: completely fucking silent practically on pain of death
Mini golf: dunking on ppl while theyre taking a shot is pretty much required
it really is crazy how quickly people were willing to just let chatgpt do everything for them. i have never even tried it. brother i don't even know if it's just a website you go to or what. i do not know where chatgpt actually lives, because i can decide my own grocery list.
if you say "as one does" after any phrase nobody's allowed to think you're weird anymore. cheat code bypass for all standards of social normalcy
