People with low spoons, someone just recommended this cookbook to me, so I thought I’d pass it on.

I always look at cookbooks for people who have no energy/time to do elaborate meal preparations, and roll my eyes. Like, you want me to stay on my feet for long enough to prepare 15 different ingredients from scratch, and use 5 different pots and pans, when I have chronic fatigue and no dishwasher?

These people seem to get it, though. It’s very simple in places. It’s basically the cookbook for people who think, ‘I’m really bored of those same five low-spoons meals I eat, but I can’t think of anything else to cook that won’t exhaust me’. And it’s free!

Over the weekend I went to a Q&A with Michelle Ang and here’s some things she shared:

  • Crosshair is her favourite clone
  • Crosshair and Omega are her favourite character dynamic
  • Her favourite scene to record was the moment between Tech and Omega after Echo has left
  • Often when recording lines Dee Bradley Baker would record in story order rather than by character and in order to make switching between each bad batcher he had a catch phrase for them - Tech’s catch phrase was ‘easy breezy’ because nothing ever bothers him

It was so wonderful to talk to her and learn more about our favourite tv show and characters

Has anyone else noticed that as a society, we’re shamed for wanting to sleep? Sleeping in is bad, naps are only okay if they’re 20 minutes, you cant be tired unless you’re a <insert career/lifestyle choice here>, so on and so forth.

I mean, I think we all need to spread our blankets out, cuddle a pillow, and go to sleep. Everyone needs more of it, fuck this “it’s not productive” nonsense. It’s okay to sleep, it’s okay to want to sleep. You’re not lazy because of it.

Can we also stop with the one-upping about sleep. If someone tells you they’re tired because they only got six hours of sleep, please don’t immediately say “Oh that’s nothing! I only sleep three hours a night!”. Or “you don’t even know what tiredness is until you’ve done xyz thing!”

Just stop. We should all feel totally comfortable getting the amount of sleep we need. Be it four hours or 11.

Also, people who need 10 or 11 hours of sleep, or 12 or 14, do not need to do “extra” work in order to “earn” their sleep. Some people have less time and energy in their day to utilize. That is okay. Not a failure.

Many years ago I was a volunteer steward at a festival and was scheduled to end on one stage at 1am and start the next day at 8am. I complained, and everyone was like ??? This is normal??

And it shouldn’t have been then and shouldn’t be now. I should be normal for knowing my limits

Actually, I'm thinking about Wolffe and a shy/introverted girlfriend.

  • They met at the archives. She was working on something for her doctorate and Wolffe was trying to look up information for General Koon.
  • She offered her help, though she was too shy to look him in the eyes, even when Wolffe intentionally softened himself so he wasn't at his most intimidating.
  • After that, they just kept running into each other, culminating in Wolffe surprising her with a parfait from her favorite cafe, and a hopeful question of whether they can be friends.
  • Of course, "friends" for Wolffe is step one in a twelve step plan to get her to date him.
  • Well, step one is to get her comfortable with him. Step two is show her that he's interested in her, romantically speaking.
  • It's slow going, but Wolffe is a patient man. He even schedules in times to comm her when he's deployed, and he's constantly texting her.
  • The first time she falls asleep on his shoulder, he celebrates. She was mortified, but he just grinned.
  • After that, Wolffe starts touching her. Absently playing with her fingers when talking to her, rubbing the inside of her wrist when they're window shopping, trailing his fingers up her arm when they're watching a movie.
  • And he knows he's having an effect because he can feel her heart race every time he touches her, and her can hear her breath skip when he leans in to whisper something in her ear.
  • Ironically, she kisses him.
  • It's quick, a press of her lips against his before he left her to return to his Barracks, and then she fled.
  • It took three days for him to get ahold of her.
  • She spent 10 minutes trying to apologize for ruining their friendship, and eventually, Wolffe just blurted, "Will you let me kiss you already?"
  • That shocked her into silence and Wolffe finally got to kiss her. Properly this time, and not surprised with a kiss like last time.
  • And then she got all nervous and flustered and stuttered out a question asking him out on a proper date, and Wolffe just laughed and pressed his forehead against hers.
  • "Of course I'll go on a date with you. Was my kiss not proof enough that I like you."
  • "I...well...I wasn't sure—"
  • He laughed again and cupped her face between his hands, to pepper feather light kisses across her face. "You can be sure."

Just realized that the clones Krell pitted against each other on Umbara were from Anakin and Obi Wan’s battalions I’m sure this means nothing and does not foreshadow anything bad ever
