Saw Brick because of this post and it's an excellent movie. Also the post is spot on too.

Random fun fact: Lukas Haas (the pin) was 29 when Bricks came out in 2005, and Freddy Carter (Kaz Brekker) was 28 when the first episode of Shadow and Bone came out in 2021.

i think the reason why i enjoy stories where the characters don’t start out getting along/liking each other at first is because it implies that someone could look you dead on and see all of your flaws and still end up loving and accepting youΒ Β
