IzuOcha week day 2: thunderous/serenity

i am REALLY late but exams and other things took up much of my time so i’m gonna try and complete IzuOcha week now

i was not expecting the background to turn out as well as it did, it’s my first time drawing a full on background.

also i am aware that clothes and hair don’t fly like that in rain but i drew them before doing the background (cuz i was gonna do serenity at first with a field or smth) so ig they defy the laws of physics now

also-also there is no thunder either, for the thunderous prompt 😭

as weird as sphinx cats look, i think if they had patches of coarse, pubelike, matted-looking hair, not thick enough to cover the skin, on their forelimbs and faces and indistinct patches on their bellies and backs they'd look even weirder. we could invent such a beast and behold its horrid form, and confirm that it's horrid indeed—but this would be cruel! the creation of such an ugly, malformed creature, merely to gawk at its genetic misfortune

nooo turn him back to human!! he has a gyro stand to run!

Anyone know the best way to get rid of a pokemon fursuit? I made that zeraora one a while ago and while I enjoyed the process, I really just didn't enjoy wearing it in the end. It'd be a shame to let the hundreds of man-hours i put into it go to waste, but selling it is uh.... H. Idk maybe someone else would want it as-is, horrible flaws and all.

Maybe not.

So the sun rises/sets once per year at the poles. But clearly for this effect to happen in the first place, there has to be some wiggle room. (Else there'd be little/no tilt to begin with and it would always be twilight at the poles) Like, you don't have to stand on the exact spot of the axial north pole to see this, you can be a few feet, or a few hundred feet off that point and still see it. So how much wiggle room is there, in terms of degrees latitude?? I found a graph that suggests it's at least less than 1 degree. How far can you be from the pole before the sun crosses the horizon more than twice per year?
