#yes hello i'm finally making a post about it#not to get too PersonalTM but i've been struggling a lot with burnout and overwhelm this year#and i'm still working too much but hopefully i'll be able to reduce that by a few hours if everything goes well#but yeah anyway i'm honestly very grateful to anyone supporting my work in any way#whether that is comments/kudos/asks/reblogs it really means a lot

Shockingly, I am comfortable with this fact. Lack of kudos or comments doesn't bother me.

That doesn't mean it shouldn't change.

If you enjoy a fic, leave a kudos or a comment.

#lack of comments won't stop me from writing#but getting them will motivate me to write more. and it just feels good to have someone appreciate#what you do#i get ppl who are like “but idk what to say!” or “i'm too shy to comment!”#just think of what it feels like for the person who put that fic you just read out there into the world#all i'm trying to say is that writing is a craft and it isn’t easy#and also that fandom is a community and if you want to keep the community going#just engage. instead of passively consuming 'content' like you do in every other social platform
