Helena's "Please let him know that his daughter is alive and well.” vs Mark S. "Oh my God I was so worried about you." She never stood a chance.
Call me creepy but I'm so intrigued by Helena Eagan that I need to know everything about her. I need to see what her room looks like at her dad's house, I want to know if she knows the color of her mother's eyes, I want to know what music she listens to.
I want to see her wardrobe and I need to know why did she dress Helly with that yellow dress when that's not the dress code for her own father's company.
I want to know if she has a secret place she sneaks out to when her dad doesn't notice. Also, I want to know what normal things she has been deprived of, like: has she tried beer? Is she ever allowed to be alone? Is she allowed to date?
And also how much her father's ideology impacts her life. Can she befriend people outside of Lumon/The cult of Kier? Does she have to engage in any sort of ritual?
I hope we get an entire episode about her in season 3 because I really need to know more about this woman
Yesssss I need to know everything about her IMMEDIATELY.

Im sorry but it is so funny how people outside of tumblr view us. Like why are the tiktokers treating tumblr like some professional ass website you need to do extensive prep before you begin posting on. And the follower farming advice is so fucking funny to me when this is the website where people actively hate getting new followers
Tumblr is the website where you ramble to yourself like a madman until someone decides they like you and put you into their pocket like a shiny rock. That's how you get followers
i would do anything to get to bed on time except go to bed on time
severance s2 really went silt verses level with writing milchick. like ok here's the antagonist. and here he is experiencing racial discrimination in the workplace. and here he is holding back tears slowly coming to the realization that he was raised in a cult. and here he is exhibiting symptoms of scrupulosity. and in the end, he's still entirely complicit in the suffering of the main cast.
i feel like it's also a part of how severance writes conflict in general; every character's perspective is given, but at the end, all of them can't have what they want, because their goals are still at odds. o!mark and i!mark are both sympathetic characters whose actions make perfect sense, but they can't both get what they want.

To some degree, that was just the dominant* phenotype of gay man from the 70s, 80s, and much of the 90s. Lotta leather, big muscles, hairy chests, and big mustaches.
* not necessarily that kind of dominant.
