And ohhhhh my goodness. I literally started crying while walking to work. Every single sentence that you write is so full of love and emotions, and I always feel like im pulled into the story while im reading it. so I took some screenshots of moments that stood out to me, and final count is 29??? And I just wanted to share some of my thoughts on themmm
first of all. i know that 3tan originally started as being about the couple, but it is so much more than that. The community that has been built with these characters and the family that they have chosen to create. The fact that all of bros friends were ready and willing to fight, were staying back because they knew it was coming, were looking to bro and yoongi for guidance on how to respond on the court and getting into it…. Like these two really have a close circle that is theirs, but all of these nameless characters are also always ready to be there for them. And im just… it makes me emotional to know that these two (bro and reader) are so loved and that they have a family when there’s been some illusions to blood family not being so great. Im just so happy for them, and im glad that they have found some people who they can rely on and who will literally fight for them.
ALSO. I know that this ended with a big drop of yoongi saying that he would tell bro, but I realized that through a lot of this, there’s a lot of moments where it feels like he already knows? Like when the fight was about to start before the rain, Jimin asked /yoongi/ if they were still going to fight instead of bro. In the car, reader was yelling for yoongi. Bro was asking about yoongi during their fight. Yoongi and reader were off to the side talking at the end of the game. Like he’s not stupid, so I feel like he already knows? And I wonder if he’ll be more upset about them hiding it than anything else?
Speaking of the moment before the fight… I just realized. WHO is the one that tells tae to bring reader home??? Was that yoongi or bro? Or Jimin I guess, but like… who did that? I think I threw my phone at that point because I was just so overwhelmed but WHO ryen TT^TT honestly its so meaningful to me that I can’t even tell who said it because all of the people who were about to fight care enough about reader to recognize that they needed to be pulled away… I think it was yoongi but honestly either would make sense
Seeing reader as pissed as they were in this chapter was a lot. I honestly think this was the most intense I have seen them? That I can remember? and I feel like that anger finally fueled them to do and say a lot of things that needed to happen. Like hanging up on all of them during the phone call? Not even freaking out when bro asked about yoongi in the conversation? Demanding to be let in? I am so so so proud of reader because this chapter really shows a lot of their growth. I know a lot of that was anger and panic fueled, but I feel like OG 3tan reader would not have let themselves get and stay mad, and would’ve kept their worries to themself instead of yelling at all of them. standing up for themselves and letting all of the boys know that they deserve to know when something is up with their safety? Like yes please
I think a lottttt about the way that you use rain in this story. Honestly it feels like the rain is a character on its own because it adds so much to the story. Raining when reader first came to yoongi’s door in the very OG 3tan. Describing people as smelling like rain. There’s so much depth to it, and I think of 3tan every time it rains now.
im too emotional to respond to the smut but just know that it also wrecked me. It honestly was the release these two needed, and im glad it gave them both a chance to get it out of their system. And one again… yoongi proving how thoughtful he is and his silent ways of showing love and care by not having reader see his injuries while they were doing it. He was so intentional with their positions and keeping them turned away from him because he is so scared of showing his pain, and im so proud of him for finally letting some of his walls down. It means so much to me that HE is the one who confessed first because I feel like that speaks volumes to the growth and journey he has gone on. Like he proves himself time and time again. He was so quick to reassure them when they started breaking down. Even when he was hurting and angry, he put that aside to take care of them when he could see that they needed support. These two have so much give and take towards each other, and are each others supports and im so happy they have each other. Like him not even letting them entertain any thoughts of being one to blame? when society is always victim blaming? Thats a real man right there.
I also love the shift in your writing. the tones were so much softer after the confession, and you only described it as them making love because that’s what it was TT^TT im so proud of my babies for finally admitting that they are in love with each other nd being strong and vulnerable enough o share that with each other. When you described him as “your lover, your secret, your home” I had to put my phone down because that put me through it. That broke me a little bit int he best way possible even though they’re both still a little insecure, I can’t wait to see the way they prove to each other that they are enough as they are and that they both deserve love
