Introducing Carry On Many Cakes Fest!

CO Many Cakes Fest is an event intended to showcase the creativity of the CO fandom—how even with everyone following the same prompt the fics can go in so many unique directions!

There will be a yearly prompt that participants can create for (vote for the prompt here). We welcome any fan content (fics, art, memes, moodboards and more!) as long as it’s focused on the yearly prompt.

This fest is intended to help creators remember that even if their idea has been done before, their unique spin on it is valuable and always worth sharing!

Bring on all the cakes! (why are we talking about cake?)

Beautiful Things

A collaboration for Erotic Grope Fest 2025 Fic by @monbons Art by @rimeswithpurple Promotional Felt Smut by @monbons

When Baz stumbles upon a winged harness at an adult entertainment store, the boys find so much more than a new toy.

Fic and art coming to ao3 on February 24th. Promo Video under the cut. (Sound on!)

I'm a fandom oldie and a strong proponent of "ship and let ship", and I defend everyone else's right to ship what they love... But I think that gives people the idea that I like, automatically love every single ship??? Or every single trope?

I don't though!

There are a lot of fandom tropes that are on my "absolutely fuck no" list. There are a lot of irk kinks that are also on my "nope absolutely not" list, too. Personally, this is healthy. I'm able to look at something and go "Yep, I hate it, but it's not harming anyone, so continue to do as you please."

I think this is where the rubber meets the road for actually having principles. It’s easy to defend the things we like, just like it’s easy to fight for our own rights and those of people just like us. When you have to use logic to extend your sense of justice to people you can’t relate to, that actually takes effort.

“Fangirl” nail art!

This is Simon Snow and his nemesis/boyfriend Baz. They’re characters from the story within the story in my next book, “Fangirl.” (As illustrated on the cover by the amazing Noelle Stevenson!)

I’m reading from the book at BookExpo America this week and decided to beg my artist husband to help me achieve “Fangirl” nails …

Someone just liked this old post, so I thought I’d share it. Wild to think of introducing these two so long ago.
