Hey everyone

I've seen a lot of different studyblogs lately and loved them so much that I've been dying to get one too. I think it's a great way to stay motivated, keep track of your learning progress and share ideas with other students. We motivate and inspire each other.

Even though this probably won't reach anyone out there and there are other blogs that have a much wider scope than me, I want you to know that you can always get in touch with me as I want to be there for others and be a contact person. I set up this blog mainly for myself to stay motivated and also to build a structure and routine for myself. My everyday life is often very chaotic and I hope that I can gain a bit of stability through this.

I am now 21 years old and live in Germany. I have been attending university for over a year and am studying nutritional sciences. Soon I will be in my third semester and in this course we deal with various topics that might be interesting for some of you.

From anatomy, to physiology, psychology, general medicine, orthopaedics, food science, nutrition in prevention, pathology, nutritional physiology, it's all there.

If anyone has any questions about my course or its content, please don't hesitate to ask. I will be happy to answer them. Maybe I can help one or the other.

About me:

  • although I study nutritional sciences, I would like to work in the psychological field one day and help people with eating disorders
  • since I was 11 years old my dream job is to become a writer. Since then I have written various things, mainly crime stories (I hope in the future I will be able to combine both writing and working with patients)
  • I am a member of the local state theatre
  • I love true crime and horror stories
  • I am a bit of a coffee addict, but always try to replace it with some kind of tea.

Other than that, I hope you enjoy my blog!

Thanks for reading through.

2025.04.02 | Springtime ~

I have this week to make some progress on my experimental design, but I actually have the time to do it because classes are over! Yay!

My student starts April 22nd and so I’m starting to feel the pressure a bit. I honestly should not have a student yet before I have any experience in the lab, but I do. So. I have some shit to prep before all of this comes down.

In the meantime, I am planning a BBQ for Pasqua, just to have something to look forward to. We’re already 20 in number and a few more people need to get back to me.

Am I overwhelmed? Definitely.

Disappears and reappears out of nowhere? me? never. okay maybe. but anyway — hello again :')

Here are some life updates:

  • I'm trying to wrap up all of Bio by March 9 (hopefully I don't burnout)
  • My first full syllabus test is on March 23, and then every Sunday after that (help)
  • I'm planning to go ham with mock tests in April to prep myself better — meaning I have to finish all or 90% of my syllabus and solve practice questions and everything by the end of this month (help, even i don't know how I'm gonna pull this off)

Anyways, I'm currently working through Sexual Rep. in Plants, and hopefully, I'll be able to wrap it up today or by tmrw morning. Also, to help me with all of this, I'll be starting a 15 days of productivity challenge with my lovely moots @i-wanna-study and @lavhere, and this should keep all of us accountable :)

Start date: March 1st 2025

27.02.2025—almost the end of February!! that went so much faster than January. still feeling very unmotivated and tired 😪

october 27(/28). nothing quite like the satisfaction of going to sleep knowing you got your shit together over the weekend and you’re ready for the incoming week! and on that note, have a good one 🫶

October 9th, 2024

These days are nice. Today is a really productive day, it's still early but I already got a lot done. I am happy I'm having some of those days as well, after a long row of unproductiveness.
