“What? What do you mean it’s gone?” Amy proclaimed loudly. As Sonic ran about in one spot, checking everywhere the bag of rings might have fallen. “You just had it.” She insisted, pointing out the fact that they had paid for the map not even a minute before.

Haha this is totally not a bit of a vent art from my part haha (somebody sedate me)

Anyway :P I was finally not feeling lazy and decided to art normally💯💯 (and I still fricked up various parts lmao) And I tried to do different stuff with Amy, hope it's a little noticable hehe

Also I watched Sonic 3 again recently, and boy do I need to do a BIGGER art study sigh

And ALSO this is a little bit connected (at least in my mind lol) to the first part of @lucidheart3's new amazing work which she wrote recently (and will post soon or either posted when you guys read this). Amy feels guilt over what happened in the past. If you guys read it, you'll understand! :D

Heyya! Finally posted the work Kexy talked about!! The Firewalker!

This work serves as a prequel/ origin story, like Sonic 1 movie was, for this series that’ll focus on Movie Amy Rose and SonAmy. I want to dedicate this to my dear friend Kexy on Tumblr. I wanted to write this as a gift for her to express how much of an inspiration her art and ideas are. Layla is her OC, and Amy’s designed after her hc’s and ideas. The majority of this story stemmed from her ideas!

The upcoming works will also draw inspiration from her art! I’m just turning them into stories, so you can say this is a full collabration effort!

I’m looking forward to hear your thoughts since this is my first time writing Amy!

In Movie verse Knuckles is involved in the Unbreakable Bond and I think that’s soooo neat

He's still him, he's still a bit rough and standoffish, but he is so damn protective of his brothers, and can joke around with them when the urge strikes.

Love him and the fact that he's got a family and isn't all alone.

Big brother Knuckles is everything to me. And like those boys eventually becoming practically glued at the hip in a way you'd never think they only met each other a few years ago. Looking at them you'd think "surely they grew up together right?" (Sonic has tried to pretend this is true more than once)

Some swear they got that 'twin telepathy' despite not being the same age or related. A look between them can communicate so much. (Knuckles has gained a sense for 'brother mischief' and will freeze cuz he knows one of them are up to something even if he cant see them)

Now that you mention ‘senses’ and ‘telepathy’ which are very good hc’s, I wanna share that I have a hc I dub ‘resonance’.

It’s about chaos energies . So, we know that the user’s powers are deeply linked to their emotional state, what if they could be connected because of the emotional bond two users form? Like, Sonic activates his powers somewhere or uncontrolably sparks, then Knuckles’ quills starts shining too in resonation or vice-versa. They’d know exactly when the other’s in danger and forced to fight, or in distress, without needing to communicate it.

I've heard people talk about the Themes of Across the Spiderverse, and about how "You can't have your cake and eat it too," and about how their excited to see how Miles chooses between saving his dad and being Spider-man, but I don't think that's actually the theme of the movie at all.

Miles himself says that you can have your cake and eat it too, if you have two cakes. I think a lot of people write this line off after the scene where he literally tries to bring two cakes to his dad's party and they both get ruined, but that, in my opinion, is the point. You can have two cakes, but you can't carry them alone.

Look at what happens in Mumbhatten. Pavitr tries to save his girlfriend and her father, he tries to have both cakes, and it Works! But only because Miles stepped in and helped. Or later when Miles escapes Miguel's force-field. He only manages that thanks to Hobie's advice. Or what about the end of the film when Miles is stranded in the wrong dimension, with no way to get back. The only way he'll get home in the third film is because his friends are coming to get him, who are themselves only in a position to help because Hobie provided them with Home-brewed Multiverse Watches.

That's the core theme of the film, Community; how instead of working alone and being forced to accept the most optimal compromise, we can work together and find a better path forward. That's why the Spider Society are the film's villains. Because they've built and entire secret base, full to bursting with the greatest Spider-people in existence, and yet they've sworn off helping each other.

They have super-scientists from every branch of reality in there. They have hyper-advanced technology. They have nigh-unlimited resources and manpower. And yet, none of them are trying to find a solution to the Canon Events, none of them are trying to stop these tragedies from befalling yet more spiders. They all just sit back and say "This is how it must be, and there is nothing that can be done to change it." No, actually, it's worse than just sitting there and doing nothing, they actively intervene to ensure these horrific events take place.

That's why Miles is able to evade all of them. Because, despite their numbers, none of them are working together, none of them are fighting as a team. And that's why, in Beyond the Spiderverse, Miles will get both cakes. Because he'll have a team backing him up.

It was quiet.

A rare thing in House Wachowski.  But as Knuckles sat in his bed, sheets draped around his waist he couldn’t help but notice the complete lack of noise.

Normally he would revel in it.  The constant sounds of Sonic’s chatter, the continuous noise and buzz of the TV, the clinking of dishes as Maddie worked in the kitchen.  It was a lot.  Sometimes it could feel overwhelming, the never ending need to process the discord of the place he was now urged to call home.

But tonight, in the dark of the attic, it felt suffocating.

He turned his head down to the object he now held in his lap.  The soft glow of green highlighted the crescent on his chest.

He had not meant to grab it.  After returning from the fight with Robotnik he and his new allies had chosen to keep it out of sight.  A spot underneath the floor boards near his bed was the current resting place of this ultimate power.  And most night he was content to allow it to stay below.

However, tonight had pulled him out of sleep by a tormenting nightmare.  As he had been pulled from the depths of dreams, a terrible sense of loneliness squeezed his heart until it felt like he couldn’t breathe.

If he went back to their home planet to guard the Master Emerald while Tails stayed with Wachowskis I’d CRASH OUT so bad. One of my fave things in the movie’s Knuckles’ presence in the team. And him coming to value his family above their promise, as he had said in Knuckles series that he is staying because of his promise, is just so amazing.

Amy smirking with her hand on her hip just like Sonic 😭. I literally can't wait to see them in the movie together 💙🩷
