Farms are destroyed, supplies are looted, crossings are closed, and innocent people are left to struggle with hunger as they struggle with fear. How can humanity turn a blind eye to those empty stomachs and eyes that have withered from waiting?

Hunger in conflict zones is not just a crisis of food shortages; it is another weapon of war, where sieges and starvation are used as a weapon of collective punishment, with innocent people paying the heaviest price. Yet, hope remains. There are those who strive to deliver aid, and there are those who still believe that humanity does not die, even in the darkest of times. When all this began, I was just 21 years old—a college student with dreams like everyone else.

Israeli forces have imposed a suffocating siege on Tel Al-Sultan and surrounding areas, including Al-Baraksat, unleashing relentless shelling and direct attacks on civilians. At dawn, the Israeli army sealed all escape routes, sending in tanks that now control key points like Al-Shakoush, near Helmi Saqr Mosque and Dar Al-Fadila School.

"Evacuate or Die"—A Massacre Disguised as a Safe Passage

As the noose tightened, the Israeli army dropped leaflets ordering residents to evacuate via Gush Katif Road toward Al-Mawasi, branding it a "safe humanitarian corridor." But the moment civilians stepped onto the road, they walked straight into a military death trap.

"The Slaughter Gates"—AI-Powered Execution Checkpoints

At the so-called exit points, fleeing families found themselves facing military-controlled electronic gates, infamously known as “Al-Halabat” (The Slaughter Gates). These AI-powered checkpoints sorted people into two fates: passage or execution.
