New Pinned Post Bc I Got A Shitload Of New Followers

Hello! I'm Nacho/Noa, welcome to blog. Pronouns are he/they and I'm over 30. I don't have a DNI/DNF, use your own judgment, but don't recommend following me if you're a minor because this is a personal blog and I do sometimes post about adult things like taxes and bills and sex. I'm a Tumblr Old and have been on this hellsite since 2011, though I've left and come back a few times.

I'm not active in any fandoms but have a wide range of interests including animation, videos game, marine biology, dropout, and dad jokes, so you'll probably see a mixture of that on the blog. I also have a Xiaolin Showdown AU fanfiction I've been working on since 2015 that has its own blog here.

Anything I post is cool to reblog if reblogs are enabled. Sometimes I'll tag things "ok to reblog" if I want to make that extra clear.

Also no, Shamu's hysterectomy did not violate tumblr guidelines. If you saw the version of the post with the removed image, it was removed because I asked tumblr to remove it. It took them three weeks to do it and I don't know why they decided to slap it with the "content removed" graphic instead of using the image I gave them to replace it, but whatever.

Like, you'd think teams would be able to do something about ovi standing at the spot at this point. It's been 19 years and he's as gray as a wolf. That old man's hips gave out 3 years ago and he's still gonna put up 30, half of which are gonna be from the top of the circle on the power play. Top of the circle power play goal from Ovechkin. Sun rose in the east today i'm guessing? Oh, and it's gonna set in the west, too, I bet. Entire hockey players have been born trained and drafted in that time and we still don't know what to do about that fuckass yellow skatelaces refrigerator-sized piece of dubiously sourced Russian beef just standing in his little spot with his little stick in the air. But that's just how it be on this bitch of an earth

It's still crazy to me that even as recent as last season people were saying he wouldn't do it. Like he had a slow start and suddenly the narrative was that it was over and he was cooked, that age had finally caught up to him and we would never see another 30 or 40 goal season from Ovi.

And then he lit up the league in the second half of the season and hit 30 goals, and people were still saying that even if he broke the record it would probably take another 2 or 3 seasons since he would inevitably slow down.

All the narratives were about how much time he lost because of the lockouts and COVID, and how it was a shame that he might not even break it because of that, and then this season he came out of the gate swinging and everyone started wondering out loud if he could maybe do it, maybe as early as the 2025/2026 season. And then he broke his leg and everyone said aw shucks, cancel the parade, he's done for the season (in terms of getting tons of goals), start taking bets for 2025-26, assuming he can rehab this injury and come back as himself and not some fourth liner.

Within two weeks, he was skating. Within two months, he was scoring goals.

And today he's got over 40 goals and he's not just tied the record but broken it, and he's still got games to go for this season and another full season ahead of him.
