RTVS PALESTINE FUNDRAISER 2, April 11th - 13th
Beginning Friday the 11th, RTVS will be holding another 3-day weekend fundraising event for the people of Palestine.
It is a tragedy that Palestine is still enduring the same nightmarish conditions that they were this time last year. There has been little to no improvement in things as Israel continues to break ceasefires and block incoming aid as they try and continue their genocide. We would like to once again rally our community and as many others as we can reach to give what support we are able to to Palestine's people.
Like last year, the event will not be a traditional stream fundraiser, rather than pointing people at one donation point, we will be suggesting a number of different recipients for support. However, this year may be organized slightly differently than the way we did it last time; more information regarding that will be shared in the next few days once we confirm our plan. Overall, it's the same idea: all donations to Palestinians and aid groups will be tallied into our grand total for the event.
The all-day, all-weekend streaming event will once again feature a rotation of hosts from Radio TV Solutions putting on all kinds of events. Themed segments, classic segments, crazy gameshow-type beats, chill segments, gaming w/ Da Whole Crew and MORE await you. The event will be hosted at http://stream.rtvsfundraiser.live/. Fucking wild to be teaching about Rosa Parks at the same time as a trans woman in Florida does an act of civil disobedience to use a women's restroom in the state capitol
As far as I know, she is the first woman arrested bc of this law. The law requires that the trans person be warned to leave the bathroom by a state official, and then if they stay they are guilty of trespassing after a warning.
So like, me, my gf, others just piss and nobody asks or tells, but this young woman sent a statement about the law to over 100 FL lawmakers so they would know she was coming, the cops were ready for her, she brought a reporter and went in anyway and spent the night in a men's jail. She is out on bail, and is hoping this will inspire change of the law. But if found guilty, and the law is upheld as constitutional, then she could spend up to 60 days in a mens county jail.

It's an official petition through the Australian Government's e-petition page, which means if it gets enough signatures, it will be tabled in government.
You do have to be an Australian citizen to sign it, BUT!!! PLEASE REBLOG THIS EVEN IF YOURE NOT, because these kind of things have a roll-on effect, and if Australia legislates LED headlights, then other countries may follow.

Thinking about how it would play out if Clara crossed paths with 13. 13 would panic and try to hide who she was but it wouldn’t take longer than a couple of sentences for Miss “I’d know you anywhere” to figure it out. I’m also thinking about how she’d be overjoyed and yet smile that sad, watery smile of hers because “you’re young again”.
The way that would contrast with the beginning of her relationship with 12, being heartbroken seeing old 11 at Trenzalore, relieved and happy when he resets before regenerating, and scared when he regenerates into 12. How she “didn’t know who the doctor was anymore” and couldn’t see him.

I donate plasma every week, and they always prick my finger first so they can run their little tests that my blood is good, and they almost always approach my finger at an angle to prick it. The one time they did it head on at the top of my finger, I had radiating pain down my arm and I couldn't feel my fingertip for a week. So the fact that Gemma's minder has to get the top of her finger pricked multiple times a day is just another example of the ways Lumon tortures all of it's employees, even the ones ostensibly in charge
