Don't touch me.

@pain-is-forever

A rp blog of a very silly guy, feel free to interact!!
What do you want?
What's your name?
Theodore. If you have to know. Theodore Woods Commodus Antoninus.
How old are you?
What is this, a cop report? 16.
Who's your godly parent?
Gods, what does it matter? Achlys.
Sexuality?
That's creepy. And doesn't matter because I'm taken.
And your... gender?
The hell- man. I'm a guy. Fuck you if you say otherwise. Just 'cause I wear binders doesn't make me-
Yeah, we get it. Anyway! Thank you!
My family (it's a lot of people):
My dad. He's the best dad ever. I love him a lot. He's an insane murderous emperor but gods damn is he a good dad.
My dad's husband. He's... okay, I guess. I don't know why I put him here.
My sister! She's the best ever and I love her because she's amazing. She made me so many cool things I love her.
He's my brother and I love him. Yeah he's done horrendous shit but who hasn't? Leave him alone, he's trying.
My sister again. She's very annoying sometimes but that's okay because I love her anyway.
My sister... again. Look, I have a lot of sisters. And brothers. My dad has a lot of them.
I guess my sister...? My dad kinda married her dad, so- I like to think of her more as a friend though.
Brother! Real cool dude, I think. Haven't talked to him a lot, but he seems cool.
My sister! I dragged her here hah. But her wolf friend gives me weird vibes.
My brother, another one. Uh, he's very cool, needs to relax sometimes though.
My half-brother from the godly side, I wish I could protect him from everything...
My daughter, she's such a sweetheart. She's the most precious little thing ever and I'd give her the world.

Probably a lot more people that I don't even know about... my dad adopts a lot of children.

My partners (yeah, partnerS, cry about it):
Xan! He's a son of Kronos but I don't mind that because he's awesome and also we are not our parents and if you say we are then you're stupid. He used to be dead but he's not anymore. I love him a lot and I would kill and die for him and ughhh I don't deserve him-
My boyfriend as well! He's SUPER fluffy and kind and caring and everything- I could talk on and on about how much I love him and Xan I love you caro I would give you everything you ask for AAA-

Other people I know:
FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOUFUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU
I kinda have a deal with her...? I don't know. She gave me a cool sword and told me to take care of her shrine and protect her dogs. So. I don't know.
They're... very particular. They don't exactly... I don't know. They have a one track mind. But- at least they're trying not to be an asshole about their end goal. I hope they learn one day. Maybe. In the very far future.

Everyone else keeps getting adopted by Commodus. Uh. Yeah.

Ooc under cut!

OPEN STARTER:

I wanna buy you something... But I don't have any money.

Theo's been avoiding people lately, acting strange and locking himself in his room and only coming out for meals, and even then he's been locking his room and shutting the windows, closing the curtains and such. He treated his room like a biohazard site, he didn't let anyone in there.

It's been going on for, well... quite a while. He was lucky that one time Tickle Anon came along he was only doing some sketches, he really didn't want anyone to see what he was working on before it was completely done! He'd thought about the idea long and hard and he's been planning this for the longest time- he needed this to be perfect.

One day, he forgot to close his door, however stupid that may sound, and you can just see him working on something at his desk and... wait, was he sitting by a sewing machine? Was that a sewing kid on the side there? Bits of material and stuffing scattered around, and gift boxes of all sizes on the ground, some open and some closed, with little labels on them. There was also a piece of paper on the whiteboard held to it by a magnet which... looked like some kind of a list, with bits of it being crossed out.

"Theo?" Argo asks quietly, he looks like he's just woken up- despite the fact that it's fairly late in the day. He's been concerned for his brother.. he knows working on things can be time consuming- but, Theo's had.. things happening. Argo isn't exactly clear what is happening with his brother, but he's just a bit concerned.

"What's all this?"

"Ah-!!" Theo almost jumped, startled, as he quickly turned the sewing machine off and went to tear the piece of paper off of the whiteboard and quickly shoved it into a drawer. He then turned to see- yep, the door was open. Fantastic. He sighed and looked at his room, which looked more like a workshop than a room right now. He gave Argo a sheepish look.

"You know how I said I was going to make you that raccoon plushie... I got a bit sidetracked."

"Oh.. well.. that sounds fun? Making things?" Argo steps bit closer, hesitating due to Theo's intense surprise.

"Can I help? Can I sit with you?"

"Uh. Yeah. Don't tell anyone, but it's... All of it is going to be for people." Theo tilted his head and nodded. "Come on in."

He looked back at the sewing machine.

Argo sits on the floor, looking up at Theo like a little kid.

"Ooh.. can I see some stuff? Gifts are cool.." Argo's wings flap- and he has a giant stupid smile on his face.

Theo went to close the door. He didn't want anyone else seeing this.

"Well- some of it is still unfinished. Do you promise you won't tell anyone?" He didn't want to refuse Argo anything- "It's supposed to be a surprise."

"Of course! I'll be so secret. Call me a spy. I won't tell anyone." Argo nods seriously.

"Okay." Theo nodded and grabbed one of the boxes. He opened it to reveal a pair of fingerless gloves- though one was still half finished. They had- or were supposed to have- a flower pattern on them. "These are for Xan."

"Your.. boyfriend? I still haven't met him.. or I don't remember meeting him.." Argo nods, looking at the gloves with interest.

"Yeah... My boyfriend. He's really nice-" Though that much was probably obvious, seeing as they're still dating and Theo is actually happy around him. "...nothing like his dad."

"Who's his father?" Argo asks- genuinely unable to remember. He hates the random gaps in his memories.

Theo went silent for a moment. He knew this was going to sound bad, but- they're not their parents. It should be okay. "...Kronos."

"I FUCKING HATE THIS GUY- TELL HIS DAD TO GET HIS ASS BACK HERE. I AM DONE BABYSITTING-"

"MY BROTHER! KRONOS POSSESSED MY FUCKING BROTHER! WHAT THE HELL??"

Both of Argo's mouths yell in unison, his face slowly turning red- his hands trying to muffle the yelling.

Theo should be used to yelling. He really, really should. Why is it that he still can't stand it? He curled in on himself, covering his ears with his hands and shutting his eyes so tight little circles started forming in his vision- or well, in the darkness of his own eyelids, I guess.

He felt the need to apologize, but- wait. Why should he be saying sorry for dating a son of Kronos? So what! Big deal! He loves a guy and that guy happens to be related to the Lord of Time! How is that his fault?!

Argo finally gets his two voices to shut up, there's a moment of awkward silence.

"I'm really sorry about them.. Your boyfriend seems cool.."

Theo straightened back up and looked at Argo for a moment. Why did he feel bad about this...?

"Are you mad at me...?"

"No! No- why would you think that?" Argo's wings flap anxiously, a big, sad look on his face. "I would never be mad at you, you're my brother. I love you-"

"I don't know-??" Theo looked close to crying as he set the box aside and closed it. He looked back at Argo and tried to force a smile. "I love you too-"

Judas had a crutch now.

a crutch.

it was. Standard. Medical. Impersonal. Given to him after he’d spent a little bit too long in the hospital. He was shocked they hadn’t kicked him out earlier. He. Probably had Natasha to thank for that.

It. Was hard to relearn.

The leg still had a cast on it. Thick and heavy. Sweaty. Itchy. He had it cut down every night and rewrapped. The smell of rot from the wound made him puke the first few times. He hardly even noticed it now.

He hadn’t seen Argo or Theo in days. After Reyno left, he hadn’t heard from him either. He existed within loneliness. And Natasha. Thank God for Natasha.

He steps out of the hospital for the first time in weeks. The crutch clicks against the floor and pushes into his already-bruising armpit. His cast slides against the floor.

Every step he took.

Rythmatic.

Click. Cshhh.

What do you do?

Theo... felt horrible. Gee, what else is new? He didn't know what happened with Judas after dropping him off at the hospital or what happened with any of his friends since... a long while. Gods, has he been distancing himself from them again? He didn't even realize.

But, when he saw Judas, he felt even worse. His brother had a crutch. A singular crutch, for something that prevented his entire leg from moving- he was mad at whatever doctor decided it was a good idea to let Judas leave with only one crutch. Quickly, he remembered he still kept his crutches, the more comfortable kind, and went to replace Judas's crutch.

Crutch for reference under cut btw

He looked up. Then down. Then back up, wide eyed, as Theo walked towards him with the new crutches. He looked. Surprised. In a way that was deeply saddening to see ANYONE running up to him.

Nonetheless Theo. Did?

Why?

“…Theo?”

He said, sounding quiet. Controlled.

"Yeah?" Theo seemed fairly unbothered about this interaction. He loved his brother and would die again for him if need be, so he didn't really feel the need to be awkward around Judas. He happily handed his crutches over, though he had one very important question:

"Do you know how to walk with crutches?"

Judas.

didn’t seem to be able. To process. The information in front of him.

instead of staying calm. And normal. Like the man he’s supposed to be.

he bursts into tears.

Heaving sobs, itching from deep within his chest, sending him bending over at his hips, covering his face. Tears and drool fall from between his fingers, his shoulders shuddering with his cries.

He looks back up. Tries to wipe his face on his shirt. And immediately gets it messy with his tears again.

“I— I thought you — You hated me?”

He blubbers.

Immediately Theo went to try and support his brother, he- he had no clue Judas felt this way. He felt like a bad brother hearing him say all of it, seeing him cry like that. Because of him. He helped Judas stay upright in case the son of Eris lost his balance and shook his head gently.

"No, Judas. I would never hate you- I promise I would never hate you."

”But— but I thought, you, Reyno,, I thought you?? Were mad at me???”

He weakly said, leaning on Theo’s shoulder, holding back tears as to not ruin his shirt as well. He just. Couldn’t help it. He was scared. Stupidly. Just something small pushing him over the edge.

He didn’t want. Theo to hate him. Or hate Reyno. He wanted the two to be happy,, and he was Scared because he didn’t want to ruin their relationship or get between them or. Worse. get left behind because of things.

"No- no. I could never be mad at you, I promise. That's just not possible."

He wrapped his arms around Judas when the son of Eris leaned on him, it was like an instinct, a trained mechanism. You learn to do that when you have so many siblings that need comforting running around.

"It's okay. I don't hate you, I'm not mad at you. It wasn't your fault." He reassured, gently rubbing circles on Judas's back. He didn't want his brother to feel like he did something wrong when he didn't. It was all okay- right?

There was also a piece of paper on the whiteboard held to it by a magnet which... looked like some kind of a list, with bits of it being crossed out.

Rey stood outside the door awkwardly. He’d came back to the palace and couldn’t wait to see his boyfriends, but GREAT, everything just HAD to become more tense right before he came back.

He peered into the room, observing Theo and deciding whether to come in or not. He squints, trying to figure out what the list said… he didn’t come in yet. Theo would hear his soft breathing sure enough, wouldn’t he?

Theo hummed as he worked, looking up at the list occasionally before focusing back on the sewing machine. He didn't notice Rey, but the list seemed to have names and- different types of clothing items on it?

After a moment, Theo got up to grab a glass of water, and immediately after seeing Rey standing in the doorway, he jumped back and ripped the list from the magnet and shoved it in the drawer. He then looked back at Rey. "Hi-!"

Rey blinked, backing off a bit.

Hey, Theo… I was just checkin’ in on ya… what’re ya workin’ on?” he asked, tilting his head, tail wrapping around his leg as it did when he was nervous.

His ears flicked. He noticed the list, and was curious about it now, but didn’t want to bother Theo any more…

"Oh, you know... nothing important, really..." Maybe if Rey looked closely he'd see the way Theo was lying. The way he put his hand on the back of his neck nervously, the way he almost awkwardly chuckled. The way he was avoiding eye contact.

"Just sewing. Just practicing."

Rey did, in fact, notice.

I know that’s not the truth. It’s fine, I won’t pressure you, enuff’ has already happened…” he huffed, leaning on the doorway.

I just thought you’d trust me enough to tell me.

Ok, MAYBE that wasn’t the right thing to say.

Yeah, it really wasn't the right thing to say. Theo had to physically stop himself from sobbing- he was doing all of this to get people to not hate him and so far he was getting the completely opposite effect.

"I trust you. And I realy am sewing. Honest to the gods."

He was, in fact, sewing. But it wasn't nothing. Wasn't practice. He was making gifts for people. That's why he didn't want Rey to know. It was supposed to be a surprise.

…If you say so. I mean, of course. I don’t think I worded that right… apologies.” Rey heaved a sigh, shaking his head.

He couldn’t figure out what to say to comfort Theo for the life of him. This was his boyfriend, come on!

"I mean- you could always come and see...?" He entered the room and closed one of the boxes. Rey could look anywhere but there. That was a secret.

He looked to Rey and gave a tiny smile. He wasn't necessarily angry or sad or anything- just a bit surprised.

Rey entered the room cautiously, looking around.

These boxes…? What’re in them? Is this- remember when our future selves came here and you were a… a… you worked with clothing.” he says, feeling the tops of the boxes, his face a puzzled expression.

"Hm? No, I don't remember any of that... are you feeling okay? Future selves-? Are you sure it wasn't a dream or anything like that...?" Theo stood up and walked up to Rey, standing on his tippy toes to put a hand to his lover's forehead.

"Stuff I made is in the boxes, by the way."

…Oh. I forgot you lost some of yer’ memories. Did ya? Or was that Argo?” Rey’s eyes widened, clawing at his scalp for a few seconds. How could he forget something so important?

He then calmed down, breathing deeply before edging the lid off of one of the boxes.

"What?" Theo looked concerned, gently grabbing Rey's hands to stop him from clawing at his head. He nuzzled them for a moment. "Did you have a weird dream about fucky time travel stuff too? Strange-"

Rey could see a tiny bit of a golden color inside the box before Theo pushed it away. "Apapap- they're not finished yet."

Rey’s tail wagged lightly at the touch.

It was a dream…? Huh. Seems like we both had the same one. Anywaaay…” he shook his head quickly - “Fine, fine. And, uh, tomorrow’s Froggy’s birthday, which is why I came ‘ere. We should… do somethin’ for her…

"I mean, it sure felt like one?" Theo looked at Rey's hands.

"Oh- yeah, I know-" He went over to one of the boxes, it had a little label on it that said 'Froggy'. "I've been working on something even before I knew when her birthday was- and I mean, I kinda want to throw her a party or something..."

What’re ya makin’ for her? And, yeah, of course… we gotta throw a party…” Rey sighed, looking away and remembering his own birthdays - a few ‘happy birthdays’ from adoring fans but nothing genuine, no gifts, just a pat on the back from Reyna… he shook his head again, coming back to his senses.

"I'm making little winterwear- frog themed. Earmuffs, gloves, scarf... you know. I noticed she gets cold a lot, so I thought it'd be nice for her to have something warm to put on..." He set the box near the sewing machine, he needed to finish that before anything else- it took priority. "Yeah, we- we will. And it'll be great, I hope-"

Theo spent the entire night finishing the project for Froggy. He wanted to get everything done before he started giving things out to people, but this was a special occasion and he couldn't miss it for the world. He walked up to his daughter with a big smile on his face, though tired from pulling an all nighter, holding a gift box.

"I heard it's someone's birthday today!"

“Papa!” Froggy said happily. She quickly stood up and gave Theo a big hug. “Papa I’m getting big! I’m a big girl now!” Froggy giggled

"Hey, don't grow up too fast now, being a kid is fun!" Theo wrapped an arm around Froggy and let go, then handed her the box. "A birthday like this calls for gifts, wouldn't you agree?"

“Thank you papa!” Froggy smiled big. She looked at the gift. She slowly opened it, her smile never fading from her face.

Inside the box were three items: earmuffs, gloves and a scarf, all green and frog-themed. Theo smiled. "I know you tend to get cold, so I made you some warm clothes."

(Ref for the stuff under cut)

Froggy squealed happily, she immediately started to put the things on. She giggled and jumped around. “THANK YOU DADDY!” Froggy said happily

Oh, he loved his kid so much. His smile got even bigger and all the work he's put into this was worth it- for Froggy anything was worth it. "Anything for my girl."

Froggy then did a little spin for Theo. She then hugged Theo tightly. “YOUR SO COOL PAPA!” Froggy said happily

"Not cooler than you!" Theo chuckled and bent down to hug Froggy, he gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Happy birthday, ranalina."

“Thank you papa” Froggy smiled big and leaned her head on Theos shoulder

"Of course. I hope you make good use of them. If anything's wrong with them tell me and I'll fix it right up, okay?"

(Tickle anon appeared in his room again. So excited to maybe tickle him. But then they saw the sewing machine. Tkl knew well enough that it could be dangerous to tickle someone near an automatic needle shover. So they decided it was best to hold off for now.)

Hey, Theo. Whatcha doing?

When I tell you Theo JUMPED in his chair when he heard tkl's voice. Holy shit. He turned the sewing machine off and went to rip the piece of paper off of the whiteboard, then shoved it in one of the drawers in his desk. He looked back at them with a... kind of shocked expression, though he calmed down after a moment.

"Hi- I'm just- uh... sewing?"

"You don't have to stop for me, you know. Sewing. Pretty cool. Now you have a hobby too!"

They go closer to him, looking at the fabric. Now, Tkl knew nothing about sewing or clothes-making or fashion design. But at least Theo wasn't sad anymore, right?

"What are you making?"

"Nope, I do- I certainly do."

He kicked one of the boxes lightly to get the lid to close, hiding white and blue fabric inside. Yep, he was definitely making something for someone, or well- judging by the way he hid the list-looking paper, for many people.

"Nothing important. Just... practice projects. Yeah."

"Just practice?"

They glance down at the box he kicked shut.

"Do you... like it? Doing this... design stuff, I mean."

"Yep, absolutely."

He was lying and he knew it, he just hoped tkl wouldn't notice.

"Yep. I guess. It's nice. I think. Pretty relaxing."

"... are you sure it's just practice? Or are you actually making something? I think it's cool if you're making something. No one will get mad."

They nod, glad he likes it.

"It's good that you like it. Now you have something to do when you're bored."

"Yeah, just... just practice. I'm definitely not making things for people. Why would you think that? I mean, I'm too bad at this to be doing something like that- haha!"

He laughed awkwardly, trying to mask the fact that he was, in fact making things for people.

"Yeah, it's... nice. It's really nice. Do you do anything aside from tickling people?"

"Theo. You have to be bad at something before you get good. It's normal. And you don't seem to be that bad. I mean, you're using that machine and not making your fingers bleed. That's better than what I could do."

They tilt their head.

"Not much. Like, I know when to be serious. But also, I'm the god of tickles. It's what I like to do."

"I know I do. I just also know I'm not good enough yet to give people things. Even if I wanted to. Which I don't. Because that sounds stupid." No it doesn't, Theo, you're making things for people right now. Who cares that you're not satisfied with the results so far, what matters is the end result not the half-finished thing. Have patience and trust the process.

"Ah, I... should've guessed. I mean- you could try getting other hobbies?"

"No, it doesn't sound stupid. It sounds like you care about your friends and family enough to make something for them. That's honorable."

Tkl anon is really trying to be nice here. Maybe if they're nice enough, one day he'll let them tickle him.

"Yeah, I guess. But I mean, what other hobbies are there? Everything seems so boring. I like tickling people. It's a way of connecting with people, you get to be active, it always puts a smile on people's faces. What else can do all of those at once?"

"Okay well- still this isn't it. It isn't because I'm not good enough yet. So. It doesn't matter."

It did matter, actually. Because he wanted to make his family happy. And he thought they hated him. So he was making them things to make them not hate him anymore.

"You could read a book...? Or- maybe bake? Do public entertainment if you're really bored? That connects people and puts a smile on their faces. And also you get exercise if you're doing things like acting or acrobatics or something-"

"None of those sound fun. Tickling people is fun."

They tilt their head.

"You are... really hard on yourself. I'm sure your family will love whatever you give them, you know? Its the thought that counts, even if it isn't the best thing in the world. It's not like you're designing for one of those major fashion shows or anything. And even if you were, you'd do good no matter what, because those outfits are... really, really weird looking."

"Not to some people you might come across it's not."

He sighed and shook his head bedore pushing himself away from his desk and standing up to look at tkl better (and also block the box he closed with his chair, because he's not letting anyone peek at his work).

"I know, but I want to actually be good before doing anything for them." Sure, the stitching looked fine, everything looked like it was supposed to, he just didn't want to disappoint. "You learn to be a perfectionist after some experiences."

"I know. I've come across you, haven't I?"

They shrug, then look at him.

"So you're a perfectionist, then. You know your family will love the thought, even if it's not perfect. You know that, right? It doesn't have to be perfect. No one is perfect. Not even me, and I'm a god."

"And my family, and some others.."

He didn't want to list off people- it was probably not a very good thing to do, especially with how people reacted to tkl. Sure, it was deserved, but he didn't want them trying to justify themself right now.

"I'm aware of that. I still want to reach that-"

"No, Theo. No. You don't have to be perfect. They're going to love it, no matter what. I promise you that. And look how far you've come. Did it look this good when you first started? I bet not. And look how good it looks now. You're comparing yourself to an unreachable standard. You need to stop doing that, before it drives you crazy."

"I know they're going to love it, I just want to be satisfied with the effect as well- and so far I've got a bit to go. So, no. I will not stop, because if I'm going to give anyone anything, it better look good or so help me I will lose my mind over it-" Wait, why was he telling them that?
