Quickly thrown together 2023 art summary. Picked some pieces I like but also some that hold specific meaning or moreso a reminder of an occasion.

Jan - I don't think Untamed 2 zine will mind this little crop :D Feb - I just really liked this pic of Ronski posing. Mar - A fun Digimon pixel art collaboration! Apr - A silly gift art for a streamer of his Aggron named Krapula (Hangover) May - So far my only TotK art. I think it's really ugly, I should have left it uncoloured :D Jun - A lil Digimon phase continues with MegaSeadramon (I need to get to the Metal one at some point) Jul - One of my fav comics. Pear. Aug - I like how the colours turned out with this. Sep - Art contest work~ Oct - I took part in an on-site 24 hour comic event for the first time, and finished a whole thing even if slightly overtime. Nov - Sportgrip Runsafe. Dec - Gerenuk from accounting.

Year is nearing its end, time for little retrospective!

Jan - Pictomancer funtimes (I haven't levelled it to the max yet) Feb - Ifrit. Nice to take comfort in the fact that if all other subjects artwise fail, creatures are forever. Mar - End of last year and beginning of this year mark my fisher adventures. Apr - Attempted to draw birds. May - Birdramon, I guess the same I said about Ifrit can be applied here too. Jun - A bigger animation attempt. I hope one day to get to do more animating. Uh, new year's resolution? Jul - Zoraal Ja. I'd actually have plans to draw his other forms too. Aug - Ilvella came to life. Sep - Ilvella attempts to end the life of others. Oct - Resttober month, surprisingly inspirating! Sad Arknights story :c Nov - New Digimon dropped. Dec - Dungeon funtimes. Thanks everyone for funny tags and comments, they've been a joy to read <3

i like working at plant store. sometimes you ring up someone and there's a slug on their plant and so you're like "Oh haha you've got a friend there let me get that for you" and you put the slug on your hand for safekeeping but then its really busy and you dont have time to take the slug outside before the next customer in line so you just have a slug chilling on your hand for 15 minutes. really makes you feel at peace with nature. also it means sometimes i get to say my favorite line which is "would you like this free slug with your purchase"

@holyknuckled you get it. lterally what are we here on earth for if not to occasionally impose gastropods upon unsuspecting customers. this story is delightful

oh? my god???

yeah, Exactly like that

W really went off and showed what I think is her true face right here. It felt so raw that it overshadowed my “oh shit Ros is gonna take revenge now” moment.

I really like the whole payoff of this scene both to the building up of Rosmontis’ anger regarding her lost comrades and W’s own regrets from Darknights’ Memoir.

It’s one of the few times that W is one hundred percent genuine, no clownery, no psychopath act, just a furious, bitter Babel Sarkaz approaching the climax of a years-long mission who doesn’t care too much for being reminded of her hero’s blood being on her hands. W followed and idolized Theresa with all of her heart, but it’s very clear that she also respected and venerated Scout greatly. Whenever Scout spoke, W shut up and listened.

And she’s not furious because she’s been accused of having killed Scout when she didn’t – it was Hoederer, who didn’t know of Scout and W’s deal, that wounded him, leading to his eventual death – nor does she even deign to elaborate on how it wasn’t actually her that fought him, as far as W is concerned, she did kill Scout, and it was not at all part of the plan, she clearly expected him to get out of that one alive, but things didn’t go according to plan, and she doesn’t blame Scout, she even understands that Scout died for the Rhodes Island he believed in, she blames herself for having killed off one of the last true Sarkazian masters of warfare and a personal hero to her. It shouldn’t even be so surprising, given that her kit is all about blasting foes from afar (marksman) while remaining hidden (stealth), that she’d hold Scout in such high esteem for his combat prowess, and for his true devotion to Theresa and her lofty goals.

W is furious because she has to be violently reminded that she in fact led to Scout’s death by someone that doesn’t even begin to comprehend how deep the rabbit hole goes. If she dies here, the Scout’s death then really becomes a farce, but she doesn’t have the time to sit down and have a cup of tea with Rosmontis to explain the entirety of the spider web of intrigue and cunning that’s been woven for longer than she’s been conscious.

What had been built up as a scene where Rosmontis was going to wild out turned out to be W wilding out seventy times harder than Ros could ever hope to, promptly blue-screening her and the Shieldguards. Rosmontis expected a villain, a crook, a murderer. She instead found herself face to face with someone even angrier and more mournful than her. Rosmontis isn’t dumb. It put into perspective what Amiya had been saying to Rosmontis once again, albeit in a far harsher way: You can choose to be a weapon, or you can choose to be a player. Amiya and W are players, Kal’tsit is a player, Doctor is a player, Talulah and Patriot were players, but Rosmontis had chosen the role of a weapon, with all the comforts and lack of responsibility that carries, much like Mephisto was a weapon. Protecting your loved ones goes beyond wanting to protect them and just using superior firepower to accomplish it, sometimes, there’s sacrifices, tough choices, decisions that will haunt you for the rest of your life, and knowledge that will make you want to hurl. You can choose to ignore all of that and be a weapon, or you can decide to carry that burden and become a player. Rosmontis wanted to be a player at that point, and that carries into her next scenes with the Shieldguards, which were phenomenal.

on Planet Where Everyone Can Teleport the first person on the moon went there by accident and promptly died. The next dozen or so people also went by accident, and also died. Number 14 figured out that people who go to the moon die and very cleverly brought a sword and six weeks of travel rations. This did not help.

No one on Planet Where Everyone Can Teleport ever figured out why people die in space because they don’t need airplanes and never found it particularly interesting to climb tall mountains. Astronomers use telescopes to take pictures of the ever-growing pile of corpses on the moon.

“why don’t they teleport back” because they’re not on the planet where everyone can teleport anymore. try to keep up dumbass

What if abilities changed the appearance of a Pokemon?

A master post of all the ability forms drawings I've done! It's been such a fun series to work on and it makes me so happy that it's brought you all so much joy!

I regret not starting the little additional descriptions earlier and I thought of fixing that but I desperately need a nap so nope.

I did fix the one that ruffled the most feathers though - quite literally! The Skarmory saga is finally complete!
