#wouldnt take my tonsils out as a kid unless i got strep 8 times in a row. i had gotten it 7 at that point.#had uti problems as a kid and had to have a catheter twice but the second time wasnt even necessary they said but they still wanted to check#<- it was genuinely the most violating and painful experience i have ever been through to date#a few years ago i went to the doctor and they said i might have to have it done a 3rd time-#-and i broke down sobbing and freaking out in one of the corners of the room-#-but i didnt have to have it done but just the thought of it scared me so so bad if that tells you anything-#-about how horrible the first two experiences were#txt

This is what I mean by right wingers being the MOST out-of-touch!!!! Journalists who interviewed Wisconsin voters are saying that voters for both candidates were really turned-off by Musk's role in the race, and that they thought it was clear he was trying to buy their election. Musk and DOGE are getting booed in town halls in deep, deep red districts. These Republican Party officials are failing to listen to their own voters, not even just Democrats or swing voters, when they say these things. The only way you'd fail to recognize that Musk is unpopular throughout the American populace and its political spectrum is if you're in a far-right echo chamber, probably online. If you're just straight-up not leaving the house to get your impressions of how people vote.

It's an official petition through the Australian Government's e-petition page, which means if it gets enough signatures, it will be tabled in government.
You do have to be an Australian citizen to sign it, BUT!!! PLEASE REBLOG THIS EVEN IF YOURE NOT, because these kind of things have a roll-on effect, and if Australia legislates LED headlights, then other countries may follow.

Elon Musk is telling the media that this job is costing him a lot because of Tesla. But he is doing it to make big tax cuts for himself and to shut down things that oppose him, he has gained so many contracts from the government.
A lot of his money IS only theoretical, though. It is based on the evaluation of his stocks, which he then borrows money against the value of.
He really does suffer when his stocks go down, but he is hoping that the pay-off will be worth it. Here's hoping it isn't.
