Just thinking how Tommy is a mirror of everyone at the 118.

He's got Hen's sarcastic deadpan humor and no bullshit attitude. He doesn't coddle.

Chimney’s love for movies and his sense of humor to lighten things up even in the most serious situations.

Eddie's skepticism and love for sports and other shared interests.

Bobby's devotion and care for his people. He's nurturing, he's fair, and he has his flaws and a past he keeps behind walls.

Buck's relentlessness and pure heart. There's loyalty and the need to do anything to protect and be there for everyone he cares for, no matter how lonely he still feels.

And they're Buck's family.

Tommy represents everything Buck loves and needs in his life and that is a perfect set-up for a future with him. They need each other.

and what if buck is cupping tommy's face when he tells him 'i love you'? what then huh?

it is nice that tommy said yes to going home with buck, and in the morning he did... ALL. THAT. (like truly insane simp behaviour ok). and then he said he wants to try again and he said he's not so scared anymore. he came back. he wanted to come back and he said as much. he was fighting the urge to call him for entire time they were broken up. he said he was driving by buck's apartment, was he thinking of stopping by? did he just chicken out, or told himself not to be impulsive, he can't just show up at buck's door unannounced, what's he going to say? he has been wanting to get back together with buck the whole fucking time. buck needs to realise that, surely he can pay attention to everything tommy said and did before that stupid, stupid, nonsense fight. yes, he wants to call tommy and he wants to apologise. and he should. what he said was really mean. and untrue, of course. but buckley!!!! tommy came back to you!!!! go get your man!!!! fight for him!!!!

Hold on hold on isn’t it crazy that in one episode Tommy checked in with Buck and showed interest in his wellbeing several times (“how you been” “how’s the 118” “not without feeding you” “how’d you sleep”) but the rest of the 118 crew hasn’t even asked Buck how he’s doing post-breakup once? Do we think that’s intentional or just the writers forgetting that the 118 actually like Buck?
