Treasure Of My Heart

Author of many fics & novels soon to be unleashed
Grishaverse/Baldurs Gate 3/My novels

Author finally makes fandom blog?

Hi guys!

I’m a fanfic author and some of my readers mentioned I should make a tumblr, so I finally did! I have no idea if anyone here will recognize my user from Ao3 (ravenyenn19) but either way, hello! I write a story called “Dealing With Our Demons” and another prequel called “The Battles of Before” on Ao3 and I decided to come connect with more of you here and to also have a place to post updates for my fic etc.

My fics are centered around Kaz and Inej and I obviously love the Grishaverse and Six of Crows with my whole heart! Can’t wait to interact with you all more and share some favorite fan arts and rage about the show! <33

if it's good enough for you, then it deserves to be made. don't let anyone else decide if your story is worth it or not.

Pros of re-reading your own fic

  • a good time;
  • Has exactly the tropes you like and the characterization you want to read;
  • Gratification: yes you did finish a thing and yes you did do good;
  • just a very fun time all around.

Cons of re-reading your own fic:

  • Is that another TYpO

If you read the fic, leave the kudos. Leave a comment too, if possible. Just do it. It takes a few seconds of your time and it means the world to the writer.

Sincerely, me who just got told that my writing feels like watching a blockbuster movie. I don't care if they were sincere or not, I'll be thinking about that comment for the rest of my life and every time I feel bad about my art, I'll remember that someone once liked it.

Thank you to every reader who has done this for me. You've really saved me this past year during my writing hiatus 🖤

been stewing on an analytical approach to fiction which I call "is this book afraid of me?" and in order to answer this question you determine how hard the book is trying to make sure you don't come after the writer on twitter

Please keep making art. Please make it for yourself. Please don’t let everything become even more of the same flat general appeal nonsense that doesn’t seem to have anything to say

This post is made specifically for hyper-Kanej fans like myself who also indulge themselves daily in Kanej-centric fanfiction.

But, Kanej fans, Dealing With Our Demons by @ravenyenn19 just reached 1 million hits! I can't believe it! As far as I know, it is the only fanfic in the entire Grishaverse to surpass 1 million. As an enormous Kanej stan, this makes me so so so happy! This fic was pretty much my gateway into SOC fanfiction. I highly recommend it to any Kanej stan who hasn't read it.

This is.... Thank you so much🖤 lifting my hiatus to say thank you so so very much. I promise I'll be back, dear readers. I'm working on myself so I can give my work to you.🖤 (And a special shout out to you OP for giving me such a kind post to see today. I really needed that and I appreciate your support more than I can express.)

all i want to do is write that one fic that takes people’s breath away and kinda lingers in the back of their minds. i want to write something that makes people want to make art and play with my versions of characters or in the universe i created. i want to be able to create worlds that feel real enough to walk into and write lines that stick with people until they forget where exactly they heard it because it lives in their bones now.
