I absolutely love the fact that in the chinese calendar, the third month (between march 21 and april 20) is called ่พฐๆœˆ "dragon month", according to the earthly branch. But this month is also called ๆกƒๆœˆ "peach month". Which is quite interesting, because there is a "pomegranate month" (between 21 may and 21 june), whose symbol is associated with Sylus even in the game itself (often mentioned, and even a chat bubble with this design). Buuut... there is some sense here too.

If you've ever delved into chinese culture, you might have come across the term "peaches of immortality." And yes, in mythology, this is a symbol of longevity and immortality. In addition, these miracle peaches are found in other forms of art continuing to carry within itself the wish for longevity. So, Sylus' birthday was chosen for a reason, essentially reflecting his nature: an immortal dragon.

And just an interesting fact: also, Sylus' birthday is between two periods of chinese lunisolar calendar: ๆธ…ๆ˜Ž and ่ฐท้›จ, literally meaning "clear and bright" and "grain rain". This year, Sylus' birthday falls right at the end of the first and the beginning of the second periods.

soo, about amore immortale - i rewrote the outline for chapter 4 at least ten times (i wish i was exaggerating). then, after making the final outline, i had to brainstorm for chapter 5, and some other chapters.

also, in addition to the polyamory ending, i decided to add alternate endings, where the reader ends up with only one li.

sooo, at the same time i want to apologize for my little outburst, but also want to thank everyone who took the time to show their support by either leaving a comment or leaving a message or both. reading your kind words made me emotional ngl.

i won't be deleting this blog, i need to stay here and connect with all of you! ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿฉท

and i'll continue writing. i'm actually working on amore immortale chapter 4, but i think it will be done by the end of next week bc i think i'm getting a cold.

ngl i feel like taking a break from this blog or maybe even deleting it. after a year of being active i still feel like an outsider. people still barely talk to me and whenever a new banner is announced im reminded of how little contact i have with anyone bc i keep seeing others freak out together. my fics aren't getting as many notes as others which makes me believe im not that good of a writer even though im always trying to make my next fic better than the previous one. its disheartening to realize that im turning 30 next year and i still belong nowhere and i can't connect in a community even after a year.
