God, Palestinians can't have anything
I've often seen this person's posts pop up, he's known for the number of cats he feeds, even before this, hence the username. The other day, I remember seeing that pic of him and that tiny little puppy on the beach and being cheered up by it. It's just so sad... they literally can't have anything.
If anyone wants to help this man, he has links for both an evacuation gofundme and PayPal to help feed the cats:
Commenting fanfiction is the easiest thing in the world once you start doing it.Β
I leave a comment on every single fic I read. Sometimes when I read published books I go and leave a comment somewhere the author can find it. Granted, I literally majored inΒ βleaving comments on ficsβ (English Education), but once you start doing it it just becomes second nature. Now youβre gonna go to the Ozymandias school of leaving comments:Β
Problem: I canβt leave kudos again.
Beginner: This is a second/third/fourth Kudos
Advanced: This is my second/third/fortieth time reading this, I still love it so much. Here are a few new things I noticed. I like the way you personally do x, y, z compared to other authors Iβve read (in this ship/genre/fandom).
Problem: I donβt know what to say :(
Beginner: Just list what you did to read this fic.Β βI stayed up late reading thisβ,Β βI read this on a crowded trainβ,Β βthis kept me company while sickβ.Β
Advanced: X,Y,Z parts made me get butterflies, and I had a physical reaction to this part of the story, I squealed outloud when characters did x,y,z. I blushed at this part. I laughed out loud here. Whatever.Β
Problem: Iβm embarrassed to leave a comment (what if I annoy the author?)
Beginner: Short answer: you wonβt EVER annoy the author (unless youβre needlessly mean) But to start, be generic, you donβt have to spill your soul in the comments section.Β βI liked thisβΒ βI enjoyed reading thisβΒ βnice ficβ.
Advanced: This really meant a lot to me that you wrote this. This is something I feel like Iβve always wanted to read. This fic hit me in all the right places. Etc.Β
Problem: I donβt know how to express myself/my experienceΒ
Beginner: My beginners go to is to highlight a line, put that in your comment and sayΒ βi liked thisβ or to identify basic emotions you had while reading and comment thoseΒ βthis made me happyβΒ βthis part made me sadβΒ βi almost criedβΒ βyou made me laughβΒ Advanced: βHighlighted lineβ This line made me smile because it has to do with character development/itβs really romantic/itβs so unique/itβs moving. Sometimes I donβt highlight a line at all, I just talk about the stuff Iβve noticed were unique to the fic.Β βI love the way you did this particular thing with this characterβ.Β
This? This is an amazing post. This is the Captain Awkward of commenting postsβit addresses all your fears directly and gives you actionable scripts for each one.
This is helping alot!
Actually itβs really easy to commission me for free. You suggest something for me to draw and if I ever feel like drawing it in the next 40-50 years I might. Think about drawing it.
thought autocomplete would take me to outlook dot com not realising id forgotten the T before i pressed enter. However was very much pleased at what it took me to instead. I think I don't want to see my emails now. I think I will stay with the oul.
university is like a video game. you can pick up sidequests. Youre gonna neglect the main storyline. youre gonna end up in a guild of sorts. i just looted a bush on campus and found a sticker
