The gang all here

April O’neil is a teenage girl, a more rebellious age than ever, an age that loves new experiences, which is why April chose to intern in journalism. A job that helps her explore, hide in dangerous things to bring evil to light

2) Casey has a rather pitiful family background when after his mother died, his father became addicted to alcohol and gambling. Since April and Casey's families were already acquainted, Casey often went to April's house.

So it creates a loop where every time Casey's dad has a hangover, one day his dad locks the door or Casey goes to April's house, which makes Casey feel like he's imprisoned.

Accidentally helping a person who was being robbed gave Casey a new feeling, a feeling that made him truly feel useful. From there, the name "Nightwatcher" was born.

—> April and Casey will be the turtles' closest friends and allies in the following events. I just gave them a level of close friendship because I think both the turtles and April Casey have things they don't know and vice versa, they can learn from each other and help each other. After all they are teenagers and the teenagers somehow understood each other

Splinter is really hard to say when he is sometimes a good father and teacher but at the same time a bad person. Maybe because he always blames and resents himself for the sins that caused the Hamato family to be destroyed... and his wife... and his child he could have all lost their lives.

Mods? Take him to the stump of his favorite childhood tree.

Mods, make him busy during a friends planned trip so he misses out on the new inside joke.

Mods… change the smell of his parents house.

look boss, our quarterly "subjection to the brutalities of the Absurd" budget is almost blown already. can we not just shoot this one twice in the back of the head and call it a day?

Let me tell you something. Sex is not fun. Sex is wrong. Immoral. Terrible. So stop having sex with your husbands. I will shoulder the burden of sin. I will fuck your husbands on your behalf.

Thank you sasuke

being a longtime follower of an average Tumblr blog is like walking into a cafe for a cup of coffee once and then continuing to go there every morning for nine years even though it’s now a mattress store

and every now and again the shopkeeper just hands you a cup of coffee, just never when you expect it

How are disabled and interracial illegal???

Interracial marriage was outlawed for the longest time, and disabled people lose government benefits when they get married so they cannot have reassurance that they will continue to LIVE if they get married.

Story time: my mom is white, dad is black. They’ve been together twenty four years, married for twenty three. When my parents were dating they did it on the low TO KEEP MY DAD SAFE.

My mom’s parents said “We don’t care who you love.” At that point she’d only ever brought home white guys. She brought my dad home-her mother called her a nigger lover and damned the relationship as much as possible. Her father grew around his prejudices after I was born but never apologized, just wasn’t a blatant fuck.

The day she introduced my father to her family was the last time she spoke to her mother for over twenty years. When I was getting sick and she called and asked her mother and grandmother if anyone in the family had anything strange happen similar what I was going through they told her “it’s because you married a black man. You made your bed, you lie in it.”

Cops pulled them over all the time and asked my mom IF SHE WAS OKAY AND IF SHE NEEDED HELP BECAUSE MY FATHER-A BLACK MAN-WAS DRIVING A 100 POUND WHITE WOMAN AROUND. HE WAS HARRASSED AND THREATED WITH ARREST.

My father ended up getting into a fight in self defence because some entitled hick decided he didn’t like seeing a black man and white woman in the bar together. Thankfully other patrons helped my father but he still couldn’t go to the er for his injuries. My mom patched him up and they were terrified the cops would take him away.

THEIR BEST FRIEND GOT LICENSED TO MARRY THEM SO THEY COULD ACTUALLY TIE THE KNOT BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE WOULD AND CITED JIM CROW ERA LAW AS TO WHY.

When shopping with just me my father wouldn’t hold my hand if there was a group around. Why? I’m far lighter than him and people had stopped and asked him “whose child is that?” Or “little girl where’s your parents?” and were stunned when I grinned and pointed at my dad and proudly proclaimed “my daddy’s right here.” You know where else mixed kids couldn’t hold their parents hands? Apartheid South Africa. We live in fucking FLORIDA.

So yeah. Some history for you.

This post was made in October 2018. The above poster’s parents met in 1994. We were a generation removed from the Civil Rights movement and this was happening.

My mom married my stepfather, a black man, in the 80s. My siblings were born in the late 80s, and one of my earliest memories of them was my brother toddling along with us and my Mom pushing my sister in a stroller and some stranger deciding it was okay to comment and call my mom “brave” for adopting her own fucking kids.

This was probably in 1991.

In 1992 my mother was fired from her job because her employer saw her with my biodad and realized that she was pregnant with a black man’s baby.

This is not old history.

My dad was saved by his military ID in 1992/3. His white Silverado matched a BOLO and i was in the passenger seat. And I was a Blonde haired Blue Eyed White Looking child and he was Mexican with tattoos and muscles.

They thought he was kidnapping me until they saw his military ID. If my dad wasn’t military he could have been shot dead by Arizona police in front of me. At minimum arrested until my mom could come and confirm that no I am his child.

1995-9 and we still got followed in the stores in SC. I got punished because i was white passing and had a latine last name so it wasn’t *racism*.

If you think mixed race marriage isn’t on the chopping block next, you’re not paying attention.

Also just reiterating that we straight up do not have marriage equality for disabled people in the US. Like interracial and gay marriage are on the chopping block next for sure, but disabled people never even got the right to get married. My fiance and I have been together for six and a half years, have been living together for five years, and engaged for like at least three, and everyone constantly asks when we’re getting married and it kills me to consistently have to answer “I have no idea, because right now I would lose my health insurance if we got married and my 15 different health problems that require near constant medical attention would quickly render us completely bankrupt without it” like we got engaged bcs we wanted to ofc, but also because people tend to take “fiance” more seriously than they take “girlfriend” and I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life being treated like my relationship with my fiance doesn’t fucking matter because I literally cannot marry him without jeopardizing either my health or our literal ability to afford housing and food.

This isn’t ancient history at all, most disabled people in the US right now, in the year of our lord 2024, cannot get married without losing their health insurance or government benefits. I won’t be able to get married ever unless I miraculously am cured of half my health problems, my fiance or I suddenly become much more wealthy than we are now, or the government stops counting spouse income against people who apply for Medicaid or other government benefits(which is wildly unpopular even with the Dems). If one of those doesn’t happen I will simply never be able to get married.

We’ve never had true marriage equality in this country. Literally fucking never.
