I admit I kind of laughed when the original version of this started going around again a month ago, because I knew I was about to repost it with a prettier wing. <3

Anyways, here's an updated version of Lucifer on his throne, to be included in all formats of 'Holiest' this summer.

[ANGELTOBER 2024] Day 15 - Heretic

I have been aching to share this full piece since August.

Honestly the prompt I wanted to put was 'heresiarch', but that's literally the title of [one of my novels], and a word not many people may know. For my prompt list, I elected the simpler version that people would be more familiar with.

Anyways, a heresiarch is the founder of a heresy or the leader of a heretical sect, whereas a heretic is a follower of a heresy. My novels assume the viewpoint that Lucifer was the original heresiarch, thus explaining the title of the novel that features his rebellion. I have many, many words I could write on heresy and apostasy in my novels, but that's another issue entirely.

This was all a big excuse to draw my favorite angel with his glorious tail.
