‏We hope you can help us build our lost home.

‏Please, don't ignore my story. Your donation and sharing this message is part of your humanity and support for us. Every bit of help, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in my life and the lives of my children. Be our voice, be the hope of those who have lost everything. 🇵🇸🍉

‏Share, donate, help us survive. 🕊️❤️

‏From Gaza, my family and I are drowning in destruction, surrounded by the pain of suffering. I sat next to our humble tent, hastily erected after I lost my home in the bombing. The faces of my family and children tell stories of patience, etched with time lines, as if they were records of unforgettable events. 🇵🇸⛺️

‏I once lived in a small house, filled with the laughter and voices of my children. Today, I have become a witness to the suffering of displacement. The bombing forced me to flee with my children after a shell hit our home, leaving behind years of memories and simple possessions I never imagined would be so far away. 🏡💣

‏We use a clay oven to burn. I provide food for my children. We head to charity kitchens that provide aid, waiting long hours to secure our daily sustenance for our children. 🥖

‏We endure suffering to feed and cheer our children. 😥

‏At night, when my children go to sleep, I recall memories of our warm home. Yet, I still find remnants of hope in my heart—hope that peace will one day return, and that my children and I will live in a new home, filled with joy. 💖🌹🍉

‏In moments of loneliness, I find peace in prayer and supplication. I ask God to protect Gaza and its people, and to wipe away the dust of sadness from our hearts. I always say 🇵🇸🍉🌿

‏"We are here to remind the world that we are stronger than war, and we will rebuild our lives again."

Nothing quite like seeing people use eugenicist language when talking about someone they don't like...

  • "Your parents were siblings" = you have bad genes from incest and that's why you're dumb.. as if the child can control who made them, with a heap of insult towards people with genetic differences
  • "Your mom probably did drugs while pregnant" my mom actually did, and it fucked with my development. I might go blind. It's not funny, like, at all.
  • "Your stupid genes will spread" ah ah *spray bottle* we don't do that shit here. That's Nazism.
  • "Your parents don't believe in abortion, that's why you're here" I survived my mom's at-home abortion, it's really not something to insult people for. It has lasting consequences on the child.
  • "You're a plague on humanity" Their ideas? Yes. But in a string of sentences like the ones above, it leads you to wonder if the OP is really talking about ideas or if they're talking about people.

Be wary of how someone engages with their enemies, because one day you might find yourself in their line of fire. All of these comments came from a single thread I witnessed of someone attacking a Trumper. Granted, I hate MAGA, but I really don't want to be siding with people who use that kind of disgusting ableist rhetoric.

If you hate April Fool’s Day, you can also celebrate my mom’s birthday which is today!

She likes pink, Hello Kitty, comfy clothes, and rap and hip hop music. :)

Hey if you’re schizophrenic/psychotic I just want you to know that you’re a wonderful person and that you deserve so much better than the demonization, marginalization and stigmatization you face in this society.

My name is mahmoud mohammed jaafar jaafar i studied computer engineering and graduated from university in 2023 i worked as a software engineer in a local company here in gaza unit the war started, then the company got destroyed and became unemployed and our house is destroyed partially and became inhabitant to live in but nevertheless we stayed in it because we do not else to go i currently live in north gaza where is a scarcity of food and i have 3 brothers and 4 sister one of them died while he was trying to find food for the family so i am the eldest in my family now i have to provide a living for them
Any amount you give me will help me a lot in supporting my family in Gaza in light of the fear and lack of food, medicine and drink

Any amount you give me will help me a lot, even if it is $10.

I didn’t think I’d have to do this but hi! My name is Andrew and I could really use some help right now.

I’m a black wheelchair bound disabled person who can’t work due to my pain levels my sciatica causes. Because of that I’ve fallen behind on certain bills (namely my power bill and groceries)

Any sort of help or reblogs would definitely be appreciated.

My c/shapp is: ivoryrabbitt

I love being a fem transman

I love dressing fem or neutral.

I love embracing femininity in my masc identity.

I love seeing my curves in a form fitting dress.

I love being a gnc/fem boy.

This isn't to say I don't have dysphoria btw. I hate my boobs and want top surgery (tho it's not feasible or safe for me right now or maybe even ever). I'm indifferent leaning towards a bit uncomfortable with my genitalia.

But I can still love being short and having curves, and love wearing cute clothes and dresses and stuff.

If a cisman can wear a dress and still be a man because he identifies as such, so can a transman

"everyone should care about accessibility because most people will become disabled at some point in their life" is a logical argument and I understand its popularity

however, everyone should care about accessibility because disabled people are fellow human beings living in the same society as you who deserve the same rights as you

thank you good night

i think people don't know how to differentiate between hard access issues and soft access issues, or don't want to. a lot of access issues aren't clearly one or the other but having no ramps is a hard access issue for obligate wheelchair users. you've gotta stop comparing every accessibility issue to ramps.

because when you compare a soft access issue (an issue which makes accessing somewhere or something painful, difficult, insulting, frustrating, etc) with a hard access issue (an issue which makes accessing somewhere or something impossible) then you inadvertently imply that the persons who experience those hard access issues don't also experience soft access issues.

like say you have a disabled student in a wheelchair. education is famously inaccessible, so everyone says "not providing this is like not providing a ramp." but it's not, firstly because they don't even provide ramps much of the time. like they straight up aren't doing that and you're acting like it's this horrible impossibility that we should understand is super bad so you can compare your own thing to it. which is just incorrect when they're not doing it.

but let's say there's a ramp. so there's a ramp but it's a 5 minute detour to get to so the wheelchair user is always late. the desks are too high to see past, the lecture hall has automated doors but no dedicated wheelchair space so they have to sit off side. can they see properly? does someone catch them up with the missed introduction? where will they take notes?

and the accessible route can be even longer than a 5 minute detour. the route might be round back, next to all the trash/rubbish. that's not dignified but it's also not sanitary either, which is dangerous to disabled people. is it round back where everyone smokes? i sure hope that wheelchair user has no respiratory issues. are they getting penalised for being late all the time? will that affect their attendance? what if they're an international student on a visa and need high attendance to stay in the country? there's a million soft access issues that are present even if the bare minimum of basic access (can i get inside) is met. but yeah there's a ramp. so whatever i guess
