1:51 in the morning thinkin about how everyone seems to forget that Midna doesn't change personalities just cause her appearance changes. like yeah she's a ruler and she can be graceful and serious but hyrule warriors makes it very clear that she's still as confident and snarky in her true form as she is in her imp form. she's just taller and more feminine-looking and can deck you harder now

I'm still not sure how to feel about this.

I still think that just getting freaking Hayao Miyazaki on the story board and art direction would have been the only choice.

And this live action movie doesn't do itself any favors thanks to the people involved with it (cough all the marvel guys cough)

Because while Nintendo did great with the Mario movie, Mario as a whole in it's franchise is a lot safer to make a movie about than say Zelda.

The Zelda franchise has such an intense fan base (and I'm part of it I must admit) and it's incredibly easy to fuck this movie up. One point already being that it's live action.

I'm just kinda scared that they might fuck it up real big time.

This is for y’all who requested Love at Twilight :) I’ve been struggling a LOT with this chapter which isn’t good cuz it’s gonna be super long and the deadline is coming up quick 😵‍💫 but here’s a wip!

Midna glared ahead, the only sound being the wind flowing through her ears as her karagarok carrier took her through the skies. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail, out of her face and allowing her magic hand to move freely, and she wore armor for the battle up ahead. Zelda was right behind her, her arms wrapped around her torso and her head resting against her back. She could feel the sol between the two of them, the divine light feeling warm against her back. Midna turned her head to look at Zelda, nudging her slightly with her elbow, which caused her to stir.

“Are you ok?” She asked, and Zelda nodded, looking slightly tired.

“I’m fine.”

“You sure?”

“I’m just… a little anxious…”

Midna smiled, nudging her again. “It’ll be ok. You’re not alone. With your light arrows and my fused shadows, that beast won’t know what hit it!”

Zelda nodded, though she didn’t look relieved. Midna raised an eyebrow and spun around, with Zelda backing up and looking at her with wide eyes.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m trying to talk to you. What’s going on?”

“Sh-shouldn’t you keep your eyes ahead—”

“Oh it’s fine, the carrier isn’t going to run into a wall. It’s not stupid.” Midna rested her head on her hand. “Now what’s going on?”
