Stephanie was not lucky to have taken the daughter of the guy whose dad has a coworker with cameras all over the place. There isn't even a knock at the door, it's literally fucking kicked down as all that stands in its place is two teenagers, one is definitely enraged, he's holding what looks to be a pitch black sword with ancient Greek letters glowing blue, engraved along the blade. The other guy (@reluctant-son-of-time)... Who the hell knows what's going on in his mind.
Stephanie jumped. She quickly turned to see both teenagers standing there. “May I help you??” Stephanie asked a bit irritated
Froggy on the other hand was at the dining room table, coloring and singing. She was kicking her feet as she sat on the chair.
Xan stared at the woman, with a glare that seemed void of just.. anything. The eyes of a man who wasn’t there. Good gods Zeno thought he could be more restrained in this moment, just moments ago he was calm, but now the very floorboards under him started to rot as they were sped up- he made sure not to touch Theo in case anything happened… he had no weapon drawn.. yet.
A odd gold glow seemed to emanate from the teen, if she stared at him too long… she couldn’t her own death in his eyes. Her own sister’s death. Anyone close to her who’s perished. It was no trick of the light.
It only took a moment, one moment, before he just couldn’t stand there anymore, barely a second before he had her in a harsh grip.
“MAY YOU ‘HELP’ ME? MAY YOU? DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’VE DONE, YOU ROTTEN FAILURE OF A SISTER AND WOMAN?”
His voice boomed around the room, almost didn’t feel like his own. It was clear to Theo that his partner was taking every fiber of his being not to just snap her neck… no. They agreed. She’ll stuffer. So he’d just… he needs to cool down. His grip didn’t lessen, just.. don’t kill her. It’s Theo’s kill. Calm yourself.. dear gods he didn’t expect to be so pissed..
Theo was utterly pissed, that fucking blade- he somehow made sure that even if the woman wasn't clairvoyant, that she would see it clear as day. Somehow, he subconsciously bent the Mist for that to happen. He didn't think he'd be this unstable, this... murderous. He didn't even think about how much he looked like Achlys herself in that very moment, he could've sworn he even felt his eyes burning with a green glow.
Help them? Does she not realize what she's done? She's taken his baby- their baby, their little sweetheart of a kid. Gods, Theo was almost sure Froggy was distressed right now, even though he couldn't see any red glow in the house. Maybe she was sleeping... But she was forcefully taken from her home, and that must've scared her.
He took his time approaching the woman, no, he was going to make this excruciatingly long. He knew Xan wanted that, as well. He could tell from how angry his partner was that he wouldn't just let Stephanie go easily, he wouldn't let her pass peacefully or quickly. He put the sword at the woman's right thumb.
"Fingers one by one, then hands, doesn't that sound just for what she's done?" He spoke to Xan, his voice was oddly calm, collected, even. There wasn't any harshness in his tone, no apparent anger aside from the look on his face.
Froggy heard talking. Slowly got down from the dining room chair. The sound of a chair moving could be heard.
Stephanie tried to get these two teenagers off her, she started to kick at them as if that would make her situation any better.
“…yes.” Xan stayed mostly quiet, just trying not to snap- no matter how much he wished he could just gut this woman, he couldn’t. She needed to feel pain- no matter how much he wanted to watch her body get forcefully pushed further in time and watch it slowly decay, he didn’t…
Gods, he hasn't felt this kind of rage in years, the last time he remembers feeling like this was back at his old home, back when he was thirteen and came home to his sister dying. Back when he killed his parents. He started cutting the woman's thumb, slowly, carefully, he wanted to make this as long and painful as possible.
Stephanie knew she deserved this. She bit down on her lip. She looked like she knew she deserved this pain and suffering. She then looked at Theo a bit, then looked to the door way of the kitchen, showing where froggy was.
Froggy had come into the kitchen. She paused for a moment. “…stop..stop it..!” Froggy shouted she rushed to Theo as her eyes started to water “Papa..! Stop it..!” Froggy sobbed. She grabbed onto Theos arm to try and get him to stop.
Xan just sighed as he saw his daughter- could he just freeze her in time or do something so she couldn’t see that..? Probably.. but it felt kinda shitty to do, he just gave her a glance, holding the bitch by the neck still. “Darlin’… this is adult work.”
Theo looked to Froggy and immediately his entire everything softened. He looked at what he was doing, then back at her. He let out a deep sigh and shook his head. He was stuck between doing what he thought was right and what his kid wanted. He was sure if he did what he planned Froggy would hate him. But if he didn't, he'd feel like a failure of a father. Either way he would hate himself. He put a knee to Stephanie's hand and gently pulled Froggy away. "How about you go upstairs and cover your ears really tight for me?"
“N-no..!” Froggy shook her head. She then looked at xan. “Daddy tell papa to stop..! Please..! Stop hurting her..! She’s all I got left of my mama! PLEASE..!” Froggy begged and pleaded for her fathers to stop. She didn’t want this. She couldn’t let them hurt her aunt.
A soft frown formed on Stephanie’s mouth. Steph hoped that froggy would comply and listen to Theo. She hoped she’d just go upstairs and wait for everything to be over. But no, poor girl was too stubborn for her own good. Too much like her mother.
“Upstairs.” Was the only thing xan said aloud, he was holding back the want to just strangle the woman right here. Unlike Theo, he was not about to stop
Theo just nodded and gently pushed Froggy in the direction of the stairs. He really, really didn't want her to see this. But, he had to finish what he started. He focused back on Froggy's aunt and chopped off a finger. Gods.
Steph had little tears form in her eyes as she made a sharp pain inhale. She stared down at the ground. Those tears weren’t for her, they were for the little girl that kept trying to get them to stop. She deserved this, Steph knew she did. Gods can only imagine the panic she caused them.
Froggy just stood there for a moment. She didn’t listen. Something she never did when it came to her father’s. She always listened, she always behaved. “..STOP IT!” Froggy screamed. She rushed back into the room and tried to push Xan off her. “STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT!” Froggy screamed and cried.
It took everything in his enrage mind to not just snap at the child, he didn’t budge, he just sighed Froggy away. “Out.” He huffed, clearly this was making xan act very out of character.. oddly enough, for once, he didn’t care about the crying child nearby, probably because he didn’t register it.
Much as it broke his heart to see this, to do this, Theo nudged Froggy in the direction of the door again. She couldn't interfere, he knew this, Xan.. wasn't the best to be around right now for the kid. "I'll come and get you in a moment." He reassured and pushed his daughter towards the door. He pushed his knee into Stephanie's hand and took off a third finger, then a fourth.
Froggy screamed in frustration. She then opened the front door and slammed it shut behind her.
A small shaky sigh of relief came from Steph as Froggy finally left. She then tried to move her hand away on instinct.
Xan just gave nothing more than a glance to Froggy’s slamming the door, he looked to Theo, making a small grumble as he tightened his grip on the woman’s throat. The male was slightly annoyed they had to take so long.. yes, she deserves it and all but-ugh.. he doesn’t know what’s gotten into him.
He huffed, he couldn't be focusing on anything else than that woman right now. He'll worry about the fact that his daughter probably hates him later. The moment he felt Steph's hand try to slip away he grabbed it again and pulled it to himself, then took off the last finger from it. Then, he moved the blade to the woman's wrist and, with surgical precision, made a slow, clean cut.
The woman’s eyesight started to get blurry. Steph stared to loose consciousness from the amount of blood she was loosing. Her eyes started to close.
“How many pieces do you plan on chopping her into, again?” Xan asked after a moment, trying fill the silence- well- the silence that wasn’t including the agonizing sounds from the woman, and the sounds of blood and flesh being sliced open and hitting the ground
"Mm... limb by limb. Head at the end- ugh, she's slipping away." He groaned, he hated the fact that he had to hurry to give this woman as much pain as possible before she loses consciousness, moving to her other hand and chopping at the fingers.
Steph’s eyes started to flutter close. Steph soon lost consciousness. Her breathing started to slow down
