cant find anything similar officially in service, likely an improvised vehicle (if anyone actually knows let me know :) )

Based on the background and the early bolted differential cover, the ARV looked africa campaign to me. Poking around, it seems to be the Sherman ARV Mk II, the turret on top is fake just to help it blend in with the regular shermans

all of the equipment to do ARV things is on the back

its the fake turret that was really throwing me off there

yeah at a quick glance the biggest visual difference between mk i and mk ii was the addition of the fake turret. gotta hand it to the brits, they came up with some clever ways to use a sherman.
